We showed up with a group of 8 for dinner approximately 2 hours prior to closing and were turned away due to us having a large group. I could understand having a wait, but to turn away business is not a good way to run your business.We are sorry you did not have the opportunity to dine with us. Unfortunately, on busy nights when our reservations are fully booked we have no choice but to stop seating, We strive to be the #1 steakhouse in the North Carolina Mountains. My husband & I sat out by the river and ate our dinner. VERY nice atmosphere, and the food was exceptional!! I had a burger topped with jalapeño pimento cheese and my husband had their signature 1101 Smokehouse burger. Everything was first class! Service was great. The waitress was friendly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. We will be back. Next time I want to try the ribeye. Yumm. Thank you for your review.
