Things to do in Valdese
I ordered the sizzling chicken and shrimp. Excellent!! The taste, quality and quantity were all exceptional. My husband had the frozen margaritas. He said when we come back he will pay for an extra shot of tequila in them, but said he cannot remember having a better tasting margarita. Chips and salsa both good. Spanish rice is exceptional. Service prompt. Restaurant clean. Plenty of seating inside and out. Authentic Mexican music. We will be back.

Went to lunch with the office assistant who helps us manage half of NCâs mental health services to the prison population. The food is very good, especially the spinach salad and sandwiches. Very good prices, sometimes too popular as seen in wait for food. Go if you want good food!

The somewhat rude, surly hostess almost made us turn and leave but I'm glad we stayed. Our server was excellent. Professional, friendly, very accomodating (wish I could remember her name). We all ordered burgers or sandwiches and they were prepared the way we asked, served hot, and very good. The only complaint was not enough bbq sauce on the chicken sandwich. Our server, though very busy, checked on us often and was quick with drink refills and extra napkins. Overall it was a very good experience.
