Roxana provided excellent, helpful service with a smile.I enjoyed the appetizer dolmathes with tsatsiki. I shared this appetizer with my husband. The dolmathes were a tad saltier than I would have liked, buy I like eating very low-salt.I added salmon to my beet salad, and the salmon was blackened, which I enjoyed. There was not a lot of arugula in the salad but lots of beets dressed in a sauce with a small amount of something resembling pistachio crumbles. The salad included fennel, which I love. The salad was topped with a large flat disk of tasty goat cheese.Creme brulee dessert was yummy and just as expected. We ate indoors and it was strangely cold in the restaurant. The owner or manager was walking around looking concerned and reminding me of Leona Helmsley.

We don't come here often, given so many other options in Durham, but Parizade is a reliable standby. We recently stopped in for lunch during Triangle Restaurant Week and enjoyed good service and good food. It was pretty full on a Wednesday afternoon, and I think the surrounding development of more offices and apartments has helped. The decor is colorful and kind of rococo. My avgolomeno (spelling?) soup, and shrimp and artichoke risotto were delicious, and my wife enjoyed her salad and pasta dish. It looks like even beyond Restaurant Week, they offer a prix fixe lunch which is pretty reasonable. It was a good choice for us to come back.

Mothers and Sons Trattoria

Overall a pleasant dining experience but a very noisy setting. Tables are pretty close and not a good choice for main plate dining which can be rather limited in selection. Good for vegetarians and those individuals desiring to share and try new options in food selection. Our waitress was well versed in explaining options and ingredients for your choice and selection. The waitress was an excellent staff member for the restaurant and excelled in meeting our needs.
