Bad Daddy's Burger Bar - Dilworth

BAD is GOOD. Like when something is so outrageous you can't help but love it. That's the inspiration at Bad Daddy's. Here, the humble burger is given super star status. With premium beef, sizzled up hot on our grill, and surrounded with artisan ingredient

Visited an a Sunday evening with very few diners in the restaurant. We have been to all the bad daddy’s in N.C. and this is by far the worst ran. The appetizer was wrong, my wife’s dish as wrong and the waitress didn’t bother to stop by to ask if we wanted a 2nd beer until after our meal was finished. I gave an average score only because our server comped up for the appetizer. We sat and watched a male server stand at the register and rub the backs of 2 female wait staff. Hard to believe any business allows that go on these days but the manager was standing at the door flirting with another female server the whole time we were there. It’s no wonder the kitchen and wait staff weren’t on the ball.Thank you for reaching out with some feedback, Ctwas! Please send these details to our GM Gerald, at [email protected] so we can do better!

i realize this is a famous institution in Charlotte but boy is it weird and boy did we not enjoy it. First off it was so dark that EVERYONE not just our table had to use their phones in order to see the menu. Our server apparently didn't understand that we were waiting for our driver to park and join us (table for 4, not for 3) - we told him three times yet he checked back every 30-45 seconds to see if we wanted to go ahead and order. It's not like it took the driver forever to come in - - he was there in less than 10 minutes after we were seated AND we had already ordered drinks. Unsure if it was the restaurant or just the server but everything we asked for was a NO. No, we don't serve ice tea; no we don't have cocktail sauce; no you can't make substitutions; no you can't have salt; no you can't have steak sauce. It was super odd and surely made the meal less pleasant - if you want salt, you should be able to get some. Server seemed inattentive - spent time making jokes with 2 members of our parties but was super lax in refilling drinks and with checking on us to see if we had our food, food tasted okay, etc. Food was all mediocre except for the steaks which were delicious and well-prepared. Risotto was dry and had no flavor, tuna tartar was WAYYYY over-seasoned and the tuna was warm which was off-putting. Burger tasted fine except you could only get fries with it which we ended up throwing away since nobody wanted them. We were told that everything was served tapas style which was fine except everyone had totally finished eating when the duck confit finally came. It took forever to get our check and it literally felt like we were escaping when we finally got to leave. Will definitely NOT go back and would not recommend this placeWe apologize that you had such a horrible experience. We value your feedback and your business and would like the opportunity to make this visit up to you. Please email us at [email protected] so that we can contact you personally.

The service was prompt and helpful explaining to us the different options. The tots were delicious as well as the sweet potato fries. Our main entrees were also very delicious. Thank you for taking the time to leave us some love! We look forward to seeing you again next time!
