When we visit the Carolinas we always look for a good BBQ place. This did not disappoint. I had an amazing brisket and my husband had the pulled pork. The portions are large. The mac and cheese was very good. We really enjoyed this place.

Service was super slow. Hard to get a drink refill here. They do not tell you that they add a surcharge for using a credit card.The food: ribs were tough, fries were cold, cole slaw was all vinegar, baked beans had no flavor.Disappointing experience indeed!

Fat Buddies in Waynesville is a required seek out Restaurant. We walked in to a nascar theme country restaurant. One of our group recommended Fat Buddies and the Ribs. I ordered ribs and shrimp and its was tasty and a full plate. Fat Buddies sells bbq ribs, pork, beef, turkey and bone in chicken. Sides were tasty also. Staff was courteous and professional.
