My family and I went to Ruthâs Chris in Uptown this past Fatherâs Day on 6/16/19 and had a bad experience. Our server was friendly enough and our entrees were pretty tasty. Those are the pros of the visit. Here are the cons:They were out of Lamb Chips (on Fatherâs Day), which was unacceptable. Regarding our appetizers, the calamari was dripping wet with sauce, mushy, and not crispy at all. They did replace our calamari, but nevertheless, this dish should NOT have been sent to our table in the first place. Ruthâs Chris should know better. Regarding the side dishes... none of our sides were hot. They were lukewarm at best, which is unacceptable since this is a health code violation. Next, our potatoes au gratin had cheese ONLY on the surface. The potatoes were barely cooked and there was NO cheese throughout. We lifted up the top layer only to find white, al dente potatoes beneath. Unacceptable. The cocktail list: we asked our server FOUR times to bring out a cocktail list. Finally, he did bring it out but AFTER our appetizers were served. I wouldâve complained about our side dishes and cocktails. However, it appeared that the staff was scampering around and the restaurant was not even packed so I didnât waste my time. All in all, my family and I were dissatisfied with this visit to Ruthâs Chris Uptown. -Monica Russell (party of 6) [email protected]'re very sorry for your experience and this is not what we strive so hard for. Chima Steakhouse named after chimarrao, a traditional drink of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, that symbolizes hospitality and friendship-certainly lives up to its name. Legend has it, in South Brazil traditional gauchos (cowboys) would consume a diet that con
Went to Chima's in Charlotte during restaurant week. We opted into the $35 deal with a reduced menu so my review might not be a full reflection of the overall experience here. We were served a selection of skirt steak, sausage, bacon wrapped chicken, leg of lamb, garlic sirloin and jalapeno sirloin. They gave you a large piece of skirt steak this is juxtaposed to the thin pieces of top sirloin they gave you. This might have been since we opted into the deal but i'm not sure. We went on a Friday night and it was packed. It was really loud and hard to hear my friends. I've had better experiences at other Brazilian steakhouses but this place isn't that bad.Hi there, thanks for sharing your experience dining with us during Restaurant Week. We've brought your comments to our managers' attention.Sincerely, Anne D

Hadn't been to Beef & Bottle in several years. Not much has changed except they claim to be the best steak house in Charlotte. Our waitress told us that several times. We were with a part of six. What a disappointment. Everyone had the shrimp cocktail, which was excellent. Large shrimp and a spicy cocktail sauce. Things went downhill when they brought the meal. I ordered a filet medium rare. My steak was overcooked. More on the medium well side. I ate it and it was good, but when you claim to be the best and at their prices the steak should be cooked correctly. Another person in our group said their steak was overcooked, but when you order your steak well done you loose the right to complain about it being over done. The baked potatoes were cooked in tin foil. A baked potato cooked in tin foil is not fluffy like one baked without foil. My potato could have been baked a couple of days prior. Hard to tell. When our meals were done are waitress cleared the table a brought our checks. She did not even ask if we wanted coffee or dessert. Unacceptable for a restaurant claiming to be the best. Bottom line is Beef & Bottle is closer to a Longhorn franchise steakhouse than a top level one.

Harryâs brings diners back to simpler times when the atmosphere was calm, the service hospitable and the food impeccable. Guests of Harryâs Grille & Tavern may choose traditional seating, tavern seating or enjoy a soft seating area with a plush lounge fee
We stayed at the hotel down the street so we were able to walk to this tavern. This area is very nicely done. It is all new construction in the last few years so everything has that modern feeling to it.The restaurant itself was inviting to walk up to. It is housed in one of the row housing like buildings that this area is all about. It has a large bar area but also has a dining area. When we were there on a early Friday evening it was all about the bar area. There were a few booths in the main dining area that had patrons but the bar area had multiple tables and people at the bar. We opted to sit at an elevated table in the bar area. Nice wood bar and finishes to this establishment. It felt warm yet gave off a cool vibe. Our server was great. She was prompt and offered very good information about the offerings available at the restaurant. We would give all the service in the bar area high marks. They were friendly and caring. The food we had on our trip here was very good (four star worthy). We shared a small plate order of the lobster mac and cheese and the bison meat loaf with whipped potatoes and roasted Brussels spouts. The Brussels sprouts were very much enjoyed and were the highlight of our meal. To top off our meal we had the blueberry crème brulee and the tuxedo cake. Both were very good. Nothing we had here rose to some of the best food we have had for the types but still very good. The drinks were tall glasses of well done cocktails. The pricing was high but the bartender knows what she was doing. Speaking of high pricing for the area it might be appropriate but a $20 price tag for the bison meatloaf seemed a tad higher than what we would expect. So we did give it a bit of an average rating for value. Expect to pay in excess of $10 per drink on cocktails. All in all when you add in service and atmosphere this place rounded up to five stars for our rating. We had a highly enjoyable couple of hours here. We would recommend this place especially if you are staying in the area.Thank you so much for your awesome review! We love that you had a great experience at Harry's. We pride ourselves on overall customer experience from food to service to atmosphere, so thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts! We look forward to your next visit to Harry's, and thank you again for your review!

Eh, prices are reasonable, but what was represented to me as a ribeye steak was questionable. It was tough, there was no marbeling. It seemed like a common run of the mill sirloin steak. The guy next to me at the bar also commented, âyeah, the last several times I ordered the ribeye I was disappointedâ......sorry guys...step up the game.Dear Kevin,Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention. I'm sorry that we did not execute your ribeye properly. I will be sharing your review with our leadership team to address the issues with our kitchen staff. We hope that you will join us again soon.Thank you

"131 MAIN Restaurant, located within the upscale township of Blakeney in Charlotte, North Carolina, has Frank Lloyd Wright inspired architecture luring you up a long covered incline into an upscale casual dining environment full of energy. Outside dining
There used to be a restaurant in Raleigh that had a pineapple soy marinade steak which I thought was the bees knees. I had it again at 131 Main on Blakeney and it was just as good as I remembered. It's called a Big Island Ribeye and I got the handcut fries as the side. My husband got mountain trout and kale salad side. The kale salad was tender but had too much dressing and he didn't like the sauce on the trout. We started with the double dip which included pimento cheese and guacamole in addition to salsa. It was hard to hear but it wasn't what I expected. The chips were ordinary but the sauces were great. We also split the brownie a la mode. I saw the picture posted in trip advisor. It looked just like that and it was a good decision. My husband would go back again but get something different. I would go back again and get the same thing. Our service was very good. We felt like they had a lot of staff and the place was hopping.Thank you Judy! Joe

We reserved the private room for 20 people for my father in laws 90th birthday dinner. Reserving the room was easy. We could order off the menu. We preordered appetizers so they could be out when we were ready to sit down. Everything was perfect. We enjoyed chatting, drinking and eating in our own room. Zach and Taylor waited on us. They did an incredible job. Everyoneâs food came out at the same time with out one complaint. As always, the food was fabulous And cocktails were delicious!! We brought in a birthday cake and were supplied plates , etc to go with it. Shout out to Zach and Taylor for helping make this night so special.

Fleming's Charlotte, NC is an ongoing celebration of exceptional steak and wine. We are located at the new Epicentre in Uptown Charlotte, close to Dilworth, South Park, and Charlotte Airport.
This was our 3rd or 4th visit, and it will be our last. So far we've scratched off Sullivan's and Ruth's Chris, now Fleming's, for various infractions. We're down to Del Frisco's, which has NEVER disappointed. It was Mother's Day around 6:00 pm, so busier than normal for a Sunday, but still plenty of empty tables. We requested a booth instead of the table in the "overflow" side dining room where we were first taken, and were accommodated back in the main dining room. Unfortunately, one of our booth's benches had greasy hand prints all over it. So we waited while the host found a cloth and wiped it down, pitiful. There were four large wine glasses lined up along the center of the table, and one of them had lots of smudges on it, which I pointed out to the waiter when he finally put in an appearance and removed the two extra place settings. We both ordered a special three-course dinner. The waiter described the meat as a "6-oz fillet that cooks down to 4-oz" but when our entrees arrived, the meat was nothing more than roast beef medallions in a BBQ sauce, a disappointment because Fleming's serves a tasty fillet. We had also asked for a shrimp cocktail to share as an appetizer, something our waiter promptly forgot and had to be reminded. It was brought to us -after- our salads, very good but very late. The carrot cake was so-so and far from the best I've ever had. All in all, a D+ for what used to be a classy place for a special occasion.

Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse embodies the rich tradition of the classic American steakhouse, serving USDA Prime Beef, fresh seafood and premium wines from our award-winning wine selection.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Del Friscoâs and it was wonderful. Marco was our waiter and he was terrific. He made great suggestions including the Sweet & Spicy Calamari that was out of this world. We ordered filets and they were cooked to perfection. The crab cakes (which are baked and not fried) were the best Iâve ever had. Our desert was their famous butter cake with pecan ice cream. Great food and wonderful service. 5 Stars!!

The restaurant itself is beautiful and the staff is amazing! The food was just ok. The lobster bisque didnât have a lot of flavor. The lobster Mac and cheese which was one of the dishes I was looking forward to was dry. There were nice size pieces of lobster but the overall dish was dry. The steak was also a little dry even though I ordered it medium. I donât think anyone in our party felt like we just have to come back here. I can say I tried it.
