A locally owned Steakhouse, serving the finest cuts of meat and seafood. All cooked perfectly with great service, nice wines and craft cocktails
This is an excellent restaurant. They differ from any restaurant I've been in and I've been in a lot. They give you a sheet where you mark what you want on your salad. It's personalized to your tastes. Brilliant idea. I had the scallops which were excellent. I had so many I couldn't finish. My companion had a steak which he said was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was Ashley. Very attentive and personable. Request her if you can. The only downside was only 2 desserts, creme brulee and key lime pie. They need a cake, ice cream or other kinds of desserts. If ever in the area,we will definitely go back.

a restaurant as cool as a caribbean breeze. Come and gather with friends and food, from our native waters, and local farms. Award winning Chef owner, Kirsten Mitchell is in the kitchen creating her eclectic dishes from the Caribbean, Polynesia, and all po
As a walk-in, I was seated at the bar because all tables were either reserved or occupied. This was fine, though, because I was alone and the bar was perfect. After ordering a special cocktail, enjoyed an appetizer, a complimentary taste of a different appetizer, and then a perfectly prepared fresh catch of Red Drum fish (which I had never heard of). Everything was delicious, fresh, sea-to-table. The owner and wait staff were friendly and made me feel very welcomed. This place is small and is only open for a few hours each evening for the dinner hour, but it is well worth the effort if you can get in. Iâd highly recommend going on a week night as chances of getting seated will be better. They donât rush the guests which is good. If you love trying new dishes that are not fried or greasy, this is the place for you.

Live locally so have been here a few times. It is a nice venue on a sunny day..we went for lunch..sat down at table outside..table was dirty sand all over it I had to wipe it off..waitress said nothing just picked up my dirty napkin. I had the chicken sandwich which was good...my sister had the shrimp tacos special which was....meh...ok..nothing special about it..funny that you get a sandwich and there is nothing on the bun.completely dry as a bone..I asked for honey mustard..something...waitress said they dont have that..She said I could have mayo..which was brought out in a small packet..weird..these days many restaurants pride themselves on sauces and condiments that make for a great sandwich...NOT here !...the service was ok..not friendly at all..but sufficient..this place could elevate itself to a higher level..but Inguess they are not interested.

Wife another couple and I dined here last night, our first time and believe me, it gets no better than this wonderful establishment. The wait staff was great and extremely professional, the entrees were second to none I have ever eaten in the County. Appetizers of Flash Fried Oysters Rockafella and Classis Carolina Crab Dip were tasty starters, I had the Bourbon Brasied Baby Back ribs, Wife had a Special of the day Crab Quesadilla, friends Wife had a Special of the Day Seafood Lasagna and her Husband had the Catch of the Day Grouper. I sampled the Quesadilla and the Grouper and both were Heavenly-Fresh off the boat. My BBR were fall-off-the bone perfect. We all agreed this food was prepared by Chef's that obviously enjoyed their Profession. Prices were reasonable. They are closed Sunday and Monday and will be open all year, so if you live in town, make the drive for a fantastic meal, prepared under immaculate clean conditions and served by a wonderful staff

Now it is a bad sign at a seafood place when both the hostess and server said they dont really like seafood and could not make a recommendation. Chowder was a salty and lacked visible sea food. The seafood linguine had pleanty for sure and the duck was excellent. Maybe with the end of season staff is difficult to find but it definitely put is off that they did not seem to like the seafood options.

Very busy place, depending on when you visit obviously, but worth a look. I had the flounder sandwich and it was the best bit of fish I have ever tasted. My wife had the shrimp sandwich and she liked hers too.

My husband and I had "date night" at Surf House while visiting Carolina Beach. This is the second time we've had dinner at this establishment. We started with the raw oysters and fish pate. Both were fresh and beautifully presented. For our entrees, I had the fish of the day (Golden Tile) and my husband had the Pecan Crusted Catfish. Both were delicious and worth the price. Lovely cocktails and wine list too!

Cape Fear Boil Company is a locally owned seafood restaurant/caterer specializing in traditional NC 'Coastal Low-Country Boils' serving the Cape Fear region. Our steam 'Pot-To-Go' service also provides our acclaimed boil without the full service catering.
For our wedding day, we didnt hesitate going with Cape Fear Boil Co. to cater. Ty was exceptional with knowing what questions to ask and addressing food allergies with a few family members. He called a few days prior to the wedding to confirm everything and what Tim he he would be there. The food was perfect. So good, as the bride, i was first at the table to eat and i put an apron over my dress so i could dive right in. It was amazing! They supplied everything. All we had to do was eat up. For the price, the amount of food, and quality.... This was the the easiest decision for us. Highly recommend!! Thank you guys for great food and service!!!!
