Went for dinner on Saturday night. It was early so the restaurant wasn't too busy yet. Love the live music by saxophonist. They also have a piano and sometimes have live pianist.Bread basket appears to homemade. Buttered with parmesean sprinkled on top. Ordered filet mignon medium well temperature, came with 3 red potatoes. Not sure if it also came with a green, but wanted salad and charged $5 for a house salad. Steak was cooked medium well, seasoned and tender. $30 plus $5 for salad. Also got shrimp and grits. Plated beautifully in a bowl with bacon. Shrimp cooked to Perfection, grits in a nice firm cake with fresh mushrooms and herbs. An alfredo sauce covers a dish. $20Also got macaroni and cheese small plate. It's homemade with bechamel sauce and melted cheese on top in a skillet. It was okay but I would prefer a little bit of kick like some black pepper or maybe pepper jack cheese. Pasta shape was rigatoni, would prefer actual macaroni. Pasta shapes are smaller than rigatoni and easier to scoop up with a spoon. There's just a flavor layer missing to my palate. $11Two entrees, one small plate, and a soda was $75 including tax.

At Snapperz we serve local seafood in season from oysters, clams, shrimp, fish and more. We also serve Certified Angus steaks and burgers, try out the "Burger Bar" and pile your burger high with all the fixins of your choice. We carry a great selection of
My husband and I ate there last night and the service was good. We really liked our server, Tania, who was nice and friendly. We started with the seafood bisque, which didnât disappoint. Then I ordered the shrimp & grits, one of my faves, and my husband ordered the Snapperz Combo. He liked his but after tasting mine, he wished heâd ordered the shrimp & grits. It was delicious and so much food I had to take half of it with us. Definitely recommend!

We ate dinner three times while in town. First two experience for wonderful. We had sea food, was fresh, served fast. Bread was fresh, drinks cold and fast. Third time we ordered the prime rib on the waitress recommendation. The meat was very fatty and did not have much taste.

Delicious burgers and yummy wings! We both had Capt Ben burgers and these were juicy and very filling! The side choices were awesome at no extra charge, side salad was excellent and loved the salsa and chips too! The atmosphere is very nice and nautical. We definitely will return again!

The atmosphere at Floyds is half the dining experience. Housed in one of Morehead City's finest historic homes, Floyds offers intimate dining for two up to private rooms for small dinners or lunches. You can meet many of Floyds regulars at the bar where y
We had been to Floyd's in April right after it reopened from the hurricane. It was enjoyable, but not outstanding. Then we went again a couple of weeks ago. Before we went this time, we looked at the menu online and some reviews of particular dishes. Someone raved about an appetizer - Shrimp Napoleon. My wife decided to have it as a main course since neither she nor I are heavy eaters. She couldn't eat it all because the dish was so large, so she enjoyed it again a day or so later. I tried a little to see if it interested me, and it was delicious! Next time that will be MY choice. We don't usually eat appetizers for a main course, but this one was a winner.By the way, I had a Reuben with fries. The Reuben was OK - not the absolute best that I have ever had, but OK. However, the fries were to write home about. Crispy and delicious.

We all enjoyed our fun night out at the grill. We all tried a different dish and all enjoyed our food. The clam chowder was different from any Iâve eaten before but was tasty. It was a little noisy for my taste, so if you like peace and quiet pick another restaurant.

The wine average priced and then came dessert...triple chocolate cheesecake...yum!

Award winning fine dining restaurant serving fresh local seafood, Certified Angus Beef, Lamb, Duck and much more. Nothing frozen and always made to order. Located in the 118 year old BELL-PHILLIPS home.
Small quaint old house setting in Morehead. Definitely not a tourist trap and exceptional service and food quality. Mostly daily special and small menus with great selection. Love the cozy feel of this house with limited seating which makes for special attention to service. Reservation required and worth it! Butch is on time and waited on us each visit as well as took our reservation when we called. We will be back to keep trying the specialty items!

The Island Grille is a small restaurant on Atlantic Beach. We specialize in keeping our menu fresh and try to accommodate both those with a thirst for fresh seafood and those who would rather try a traditional dish with a new perspective. Although we woul
There is no other way to describe it. Yes, it's crowded, but the food and service are outstanding. The shrimp and scallops over pasta were better than ever. It's not too much pasta and the sauce is light and just right. I've never had local scallops any better. My wife's tuna was perfect for her. The Key Lime pie is a perfect finish. Add drinks and wonderful service by Amber and you will do no better on the Crystal Coast.

We were visiting the area and our Morehead City friends insisted we visit their favorite restaurant. What excellent fresh fish we had and we wish it was located in our hometown. I had the ahi tuna with toasted sesame. It was extremely delicious and a lot of it. Shrimp and Grits, Shrimp and Scallop Scallop Alfredo and Tomato Basil Tuna were fully enjoyed by the others. So there isn't anything to warn you about but, instead, just enjoy a delicious dining experience.
