Pour Taproom Wilmington

Just imagine a beer and wine festival shrunk down into one room! We want to give you the freedom to taste a wide selection of beers without the wait! We have 62 craft beers on tap and 8 wines in this old 1920 bank. We have a variety of food from salad, pa

My wife and I along with our granddaughter visited the Pour Taproom in downtown Wilmington once again for lunch during the week.It was just about lunch time so we placed our order and headed upstairs to sit down, relax and enjoy our meal. The food arrived pretty quickly as we were the first patrons for lunch this day.We ordered the Margherita Flatbread and the Club Panini. Both were well made, tasty, and a nice size portion. The three of us shared both items and really enjoyed the meal. FYI- we are not big beer drinkers but really like the menu and the food they serve at the Pour Taproom. So for us the food is the reason we go....But I am sure most patrons go for the huge selection of Craft Beers...Our server was Charles and he was real helpful, polite and friendly..Either way, food or beer, the Pour Taproom is a good choice....

This place is phenomenal. We went to see the band with a large group from my brother's development, as we were visiting. The band was great, the drinks not watered down, the food was surprisingly good for bar food, and the service was excellent. We had a great time, singing along with the band.

Hells Kitchen

Hell’s Kitchen is not a fancy establishment, bar/restaurant combination with plenty of seating inside with a few tables located outside. This is one of those seat anywhere you want restaurants. Televisions are located throughout for entertainment. It was a day trip for my husband and me, so we decided to try an appetizer here and something else at another location rather than eat one meal at one location. The only food I am commenting on is the Buffalo wings. I did some research prior to coming to Hell’s Kitchen and asked one of the locals where to go for the best Buffalo wings. Hell’s Kitchen was named as well as a competitor restaurant in the area. The Wings were very good.

Best burgers in Wilmington

It's off the beaten path for sure. Smaller place and limited seating. My husband had the burger with slaw and chilli and sweet potatoe fries. I had the burger with mushrooms and onions with cajun fries. Little too much cajun seasoning for my personal taste and all the burger meat comes at the same temp. (Like rare, medium rare, etc) the burgers where juicy and flavorful. Very good, but I think I've had better "craft burgers" at other places in Wilmington. Friendly staff and they do have some alcohol to choose from.

I'm staying in a local hotel in Wilmington, and got done with a really long day of work, for the Visit NC conference in town. Ordered Door Dash from this restaurant, and spent a significant amount of money might I add. I came back to the computer after 30 minutes after I had ordered the food, only to find out that the restaurant had cancelled my order. I have no idea why, but being that I'm hungry, and I had waited some time for the order before realizing this, I'm super irritated with the service, and I would go ahead an say skip ordering Door dash from this establishment. Thanks for making me scramble to find something to eat late at night now. I'll probably end up getting something lousy because of this.

Stopped in for pizza based on recent reviews and was disappointed. Pizza was just average. The pizza menu was quite large but we ordered a large plain cheese pizza, our favorite. The crust was thin, but brushed with a garlic oil and not tasty. The sauce was not fresh at all, tasted like a can sauce and was way too thick. Cheese was fine.We tasted other local pizza in Wilmington and know that this style is not the norm. The location is more of a pub gathering spot then restaurant.

Wasn't sure about this place looking from the outside, but my advice is open the door! Very comfortable and welcoming inside. Waitress was attentive, and efficient. We visited for lunch, and had a combination of sandwiches and ribs. Everything was very good. the restaurant also validates parking at the cotton exchange car park which is an added bonus. Very good

Casual environment serving high end bar/pub fare

We stopped in before a visit to the theater. Wait was 30 min, but had 2 seats open up at the bar in 20. The staff was running hard but were always friendly and attentive. Then came the food! Everything was delicious and came out timely, but not too fast as to be on top of the course before it! It was a noisy, busy, fun place with great food and a casual atmosphere! We’ll definitely go back!!
