Went there for lunch and had the fried chicken, cabbage and a salad. Fried chicken was perfect, not over breaded and perfectly cooked. Cabbage could have used more salt but I like salty food so I cannot fairly judge that. Salad was nice and fresh and service was courteous and prompt. Food is set up cafeteria style and there were different entrees to choose from. I would go back.

Ruby Tuesday

Reviewed By Dennis L

While visiting our son and his family for part of November 2016, we visited Ruby Tuesday in Spring Lake. We were celebrating the November birthdays of two grandchildren, my wife's recent birthday, and my recent birthday.Ruby Tuesday has a layout that seems to be coffee shop with a veneer of steakhouse. It's laid out like a coffee shop with more elegant tables, chair, and booths. A cocktail bar dominates the right side of the room; a salad bar runs down the center; and tables, booths cover the rest of the floor.A manager met us at the door with a greeting and led us to seating. He checked our satisfaction near the end of our visit. We had combined seating for our five adults and three children. Our waitress was prompt, friendly, and attentive. She explained that the special was a meat entree combined with a salad bar, a side, and a dessert. I ordered the special that included a steak, salad bar, mashed potatoes, and dessert. It was only slightly more expensive than a steak and two sides. Our son's mother in law ordered the special that included a rack of ribs, salad bar, mashed potatoes, and dessert. The ribs came with onion rings. The salad bar was a large offering. I had lettuce, carrots, cheese, tomatoes, boiled egg, bacon pieces, sunflower seeds, and ham cubes with Thousand Island dressing. My steak was a beautiful cut of meat, smooth and cooked to my liking. My wife had a shrimp basket with very good shrimp and fries. One of my grandsons had a cheeseburger from the adult menu; our other two grandchildren had chicken strips and fries. My dessert was more than I expected. It was a large brandy snifter with a hot fudge sundae atop a decadent chocolate brownie. Two of my grandchildren received smaller fudge sundaes because of their November birthdays. Their maternal grandmother split her dessert sundae with the third grandchild. We left full and satisfied. I haven't been to a Ruby Tuesday in a couple decades, but we'll definitely seek them out on our future travels. We'll return to this one next November.Ruby Tuesday does reservations and online ordering. The table configuration allows bunching tables for large groups, but I don't know if there is any private area for business meetings.

Mi Casita

Reviewed By TheSouthernExplorer

I grew up in southeast North Carolina and have eaten at Mi Casita in several cities (Rockingham, Laurinburg, Hope Mills, Fayetteville, Dunn). This is the worst Mi Casita I have ever gotten food from. My wife and I both ordered chicken and rice bowls (take out) which, at other Mi Casita's, we have tremendously enjoyed. The chicken was bland and completely void of flavor. The food was so bad that my wife stopped eating and just threw it away. There are other Mexican options in Spring Lake that would be a much better choice than this restaurant!

We were greeted by friendly smiles. We were seated and served by Letisha. She promptly got hot coffee to us and took our orders. We received our food and it was piping hot. My bacon was not as crispy as I would have liked and she took it to the kitchen, it was brought back perfect and the rest of the food had not gotten cold. My husband loves the pancakes and was not disappointed, they are always light and fluffy. We owned a restaurant for 13 years, a server with a smile and showing attentiveness is what we always wanted in a staff member. Letisha fits the bill.

Army City Steak and Gyro

The chicken and the sauce in the Shawarama was spicy and tasty. However, the fluffy wrap is not for me: I like a thin wrap. Hubby said the lamb gyro was ok, but he also did not care for the wrap. Prices were fair. Probably won't go back, but if I do, I will get a salad with the chicken.

Second time in town and each time I've made a stop by Noble. The pulled pork plate was amazing. It was loaded with meat and had a fantastic BBQ sauce on it. Had the new potatoes and baked beans. So much food for just a little dough.Saw another customer with the ribs. They looked delicious. If I make it back to town, that's my next meal. Highly recommend.
