TRiO is an exciting retail and tasting destination with both a gourmet retail wine, beer and cheese shop as well as a bistro with a wine bar and tap house.
Stopped here for a work lunch during the week. Crowded, but seated & greeted quickly. They have two levels of seating. They have a wine & beer shop as you enter and the restaurant serves beer & wine only.I had a salad with shrimp (don't recall the menu name) and my partner had a sandwich. Both were very fresh and delicious. The service was prompt, friendly and efficient. I will return and recommend it.

What can I say about Spankyâs that hasnât been said? Itâs my favorite restaurant in the OBX and we have to stop at least once. Besides the food (which is very good and extremely reasonably priced), the staff is the best. I have never seen âMr. Spankyâ flustered or not smiling. The other staff are extremely polite and helpful too. In addition, our last visit, my husbandâs wallet fell out of his pocket. I called Spankyâs, Mr. Spanky found it, and called us back. Thank you! (Now if I could only convince my husband to eat the Viking burger so he could get on their Facebook page...)

We are here on vacation, and this was our first full night here. Stormy weather made us decide to stay in and have delivery. I called Southern Shores Puzza around 6:30 on Friday eve. The girl that took the order was very pleasant and thorough. We ordered a small puzza with onions and pepperoni and a cheese steak sub. The pizza was excellent, good flavor, nicely cooked, the edges just a little doughy. The sub was perfect size, tender meat and a nice balance of bread vs, meat. Onion rings were excellent too! The delivery guy was very nice, I felt bad because he stepped in a huge puddle at the base of our stairs from all the rain, it didnât cramp his cheerful spirit. We will definitely go/delivery with them and I recommend you too!!

Small place if you want to sit inside.Typical dive bar ambiance. Burgers would have been okay, but they were so heavily salted, they were barely edible. Maybe a new cook?Fries were good and service was solid.

Apparently in the fall Monday is fried chicken night. I asked our server and apparently 75+% of the meals are the fried chicken. The chicken was fried marvelously, very crispy but very moist inside. Collard greens were exceptional. Garlic mashed and corn bread were good. Both of us had the chicken and we both enjoyed it. Our friends who live in the area say everyone knows of fried chicken so donât plan meetings for Mondayâs. Have been there in past years but never for chicken but I encourage a visit anytime!

Gourmet Market turned restaurant featuring fresh local seafood, steaks, crabcakes to die for, creative sandwiches of house roasted meats on fresh baked bread, and one of the best selection of oysters on the East Coast. Outside dinning in season, extensive
Part of a small chain, Coastal Provisions offers an extensive fresh seafood menu. It also has a decent beer selection and extensive wine list. You simply browse the ample wine selection throughout the restaurant/store and the waiter will do the serving at no extra cost beyond the bottle price. With seven people, our table received excellent and attentive service. I highly recommend this restaurant and provisions store if you happen to visit the OBX.

Wonderful restaurant. Food was best we had in Kitty Hawk. I had the seafood bisque, which was excellent. The fresh oysters were the best I have had in a long while. Very clean. The steamed shrimp were also excellent. Everyone else had the salmon. It was cooked to perfection. Very juicy.

Authentic. Simple. Delicious. High Cotton Barbeque has been well-known on the Outer Banks for over 10 years for their Eastern North Carolina Style Barbeque, Famous Fried or Slow Smoked Juicy Chicken, Melt in Your Mouth Ribs and Texas-style Beef Brisket. A
I went to school in Raleigh and then moved away over 30 years ago. Used to get good barbecue there, but I haven't had any really good barbecue since then. I stopped in for lunch and got the combo plate of barbecue and fried chicken with Brunswick stew smoked cabbage and hush puppies. It was all excellent. And the folks there were nice enough to let me sit at my table and work even during the busy lunch hour. And then to top it off they have free mini moon pies at the register if you didn't opt in for dessert. Reasonably priced too! Highly recommended
