What a find ! When I walked into the door was I met with smiling faces and a good morning how are you doing . Southern hospitality abounds ! The food is very tasty . Lunch specials daily along with sandwich specials too . The wait staff are on top of things . Never had to ask for a refill of beverage . You can tell this is a great place to eat . Wait staff calls people by their name when they walk in .

Great place to drop in for a beverage and appetizer. Don't expect much in the way of table service and expect the bartender to be distracted by those at the bar. Otherwise, pretty cool local venue with a patio for overflow and good weather. Parking accessible too.

Three of us guys headed to dinner last week and ended up here. Cayla was an exceptional server. Her great sense of humor, and relaxed while totally professional demeanor really impressed us. We ordered food and beers from her recommendations and were not disappointed even once. Nothing we had was less than delicious. The portions were great. The atmosphere in the dining area was fairly informal if a bit loud, though not to the point it interfered with conversation or our enjoyment. This is a great place for friends and family. Overall a great place!

The best wood fired pizza around. Sandwiches, salads, draft beer, live music, cocktails, and wine. Not what you expect; not where you expect to find it! We love great food, tasty beverages, music, and enjoying it all with friends. Now you know the story b
Stopped on a busy First Sunday, ordered salads, which were fantastic. It was quite obvious that the serving team was very happy doing what they enjoy!

We two couples received a friendly greeting and were promptly seated as we arrived on time for our 6:30 p.m. reservation on a busy Saturday night. Tall, filled water glasses quickly appeared; welcome on a very hot July evening. Page, our friendly, efficient, attentive server volunteered explanations of several menu items as she took orders for beverages which were selected from a fairly extensive listing in a separate booklet that included many top notch bourbons. The wine choices were more than adequate. One in the party who was avoiding gluten was pleased to read about the gluten free items. An excellent appetizer of crispy oysters was shared. My wife opted for the "Fish Duo" as her entree; baked, rolled flounder with crabmeat and a fried soft shell crab. I had the mullet, the only whole fish offered. The other couple both ordered "shrimp & grits". My wife raved about her choice, mine was okay. I don't remember ever having mullet and likely will not again. The fish itself was flavorful and done just right, although very boney, and did not need the sauce spread on top (which I scraped off). The shrimp/grits was declared very good; they both would have preferred a larger portion. He was pleased that the rolls served with the salad were filling; they too were very good. The remodeling of this former US post office is in keeping with the casual atmosphere that the chef/owners have created. We wore shorts, some patrons were quite dressy; either works there. Since Postal Fish Company is only half an hour from home and one of a few in the area offering good fish/seafood, we'll likely return soon. Next time I'll sit at the counter overlooking the cooks in action.

The Pittsboro Roadhouse & General Store is the anchor restaurant in historic downtown Pittsboro. Just west of Courthouse Circle, The Roadhouse features indoor and outdoor seating, a lounge, bar and stage with as much music as the best in the greater Ralei
So, this is not the kind of dark, smoky dive like in the movie "Road House". It's bright, it's clean, it has amazing food (pimento cheese fritters = fried pimento cheese, how decadently Southern is that??), and it has live music on Fridays and Saturdays. The smoked gouda mac and cheese and cavatappi pasta with chicken are excellent. Dessert portions are very generously sized (although the vanilla cake and the cannoli cake had exactly the same cake base, just with different frosting). Service was prompt and friendly, prices were reasonable. Never did find the general store, but maybe we'll look for it the next time we come -- and there will definitely be a next time.

Nice to discover that this place isn't actually in Pittsboro (which would be a longer drive), but on 15-501 several miles north of town. Good, moist, chopped pork BBQ (not at all smoky, though), served with vinegar-based sauce on the side. Very fresh cole slaw. Hot and crispy hush puppies and onion rings. I can't imagine what the "XL Barbecue Plate" would be like, given the mounds of food on my regular barbecue plate. Low key casual and comfortable atmosphere, not at all crowded on a Saturday night. Note that the take-out window is at the front of the building; the door to the inside seating area is off the patio on the side of the building. Friendly and helpful staff.

Good breakfast but the wait for the food was super long. A gathering place for the locals. Went on a Sunday morning. You would have thought more people would have been in church. I guess they wanted some french toast and scrambled eggs before service. Good restaurant though.

The intimate dining rooms within the white-columned Fearrington House, a member of Relais & Chateaux, have welcomed guests for thirty years. Itâs here that Executive Chef Colin Bedford continues a commitment to exceptional regional cuisine.
My husband took me to the Fearrington House Restaurant for Valentine's. It was darn close to perfection. We chose the 4-course option, and I had the wine pairing. Considering the cost of the wine pairing, I thought I'd have more wine, but other than that, I can think of no way to improve the experience.Do visit the facilities, if only to sample their delightful hand soap.

We are a cafe that supports local foods in a casual, fun atmosphere. We want to make farm to table an affordable experience. We are also an unusual bed and breakfast that is pet and child friendly.
We always drop by the Small B&B Cafe for breakfast when family members are staying in the B&B. The Bed part of the B&B is funky and fun and several of our kids and their families with young children love to stay there. The individual free standing units, the largest with a big bedroom and Murphy bed in the living area, is great for the larger families. The smaller units good for smaller portions of our family. The second B (breakfast) is wonderful, locally sourced beautifully cooked and the kids and grandkids love the Ricotta Pancakes!
