See what the Colonel's cooking at your local KFC. Stop in today and enjoy our world famous chicken - it's Finger Lickin' Good!
Wrote a review last year explaining how bad this location was - went again and after placing my to go order and waiting a few minutes I was told to expect a 16 minute wait while they baked more biscuits. How do you allow yourself to run out of biscuits when one is included in almost every meal - can't you notice the pan getting low on them and start some before you run out? Luckily, I was offered the privilege to "go ahead and take my meals without biscuits" of course no extra anything was offered to replace them.
This place has the biggest burgers around! Looks can be deceiving when you first drive up...but walking in you will find very friendly staff, and great food. The prices are very affordable and kids always eat FREE! Best hushpuppies around too! We even met the owner who was very kind. Will be going back...tonight!
Big Red's Café is a place to grab a coffee and pastry to go, or purchase fresh mini donuts and a specialty espresso drink which can be enjoyed in our friendly dining atmosphere. Also offered all day are a variety of hand crafted sandwiches. All sandwiches
Delicious donuts, friendly service and plenty of space inside this relatively new cafe that opened in December 2018. They offer ice cream and milkshake specials. We enjoyed a delicious tray of 10 mini donuts for $5, and a vanilla latte for a few more bucks. Lots of seating. Many gift items also available for sale inside. Attached to the Patriot Jackâs shop just off I-85 and US 74. Plenty of parking and restroom available.
I frequent Subways for lunches during the work week. Frequently I've found the service can get pretty slow during the lunch rush as many Subways aren't adequately staffed. THIS ONE IS! I've never seen more people cranked through a Subway this fast. Same great sandwiches as always.
The Chat n nibble is mainly a restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. My husband and I have eaten breakfast here several times. We usually eat eggs, bacon, grits and toast with coffee. We have never had a bad breakfast here but there is nothing special about the breakfast either. It is just an average breakfast and most of the people that we see are local regulars or local workers. We have also eaten lunch several times here. Again, there is nothing bad I can say about any of the regular lunch foods but there is nothing special I can recommend either. If you are from out of town, you will most likely not be able to find this restaurant unless you have a device where you can enter the address. It is located on a road going out of town.

Stopped here for lunch during a Doctorâs visit to Kingâs Mountain. Local hangout for cops. We counted close to 20 state, county and city police. Felt safe. Had chicken and dumplings. Very good. Free drink refills. Place could use a little âsprucing upâ especially the bathrooms, but overall good experience

You get a good meal, fast service and it does not cost a fortune. They cook to order, so it is hot! The cherry soda is awesome, do not know of another place around that sells it.

First, took forever to get our appetizer which arrived cool instead of hot and with the wrong dressing. Bartender was also waiting the entire barroom area of restaurant, no one else - and doing a good job of covering everybody with the games on TV on Sunday afternoon. Husband's Buffalo wrap came - had asked for the hot sauce, it came with the mild sauce, oh, well, he was disappointed but said it was okay. Mine was laughable; ordered the cobb salad and what I got was a variety of items in small piles on the bare plate and an uncut/unshredded HALF A HEAD of iceburg lettuce plopped down - still had the outside leaves on it that were both white and brown from age and dirt. It was so bad - we sat there and laughed and shook our heads. So I had to sit and shred the head of lettuce with my hands and try to awkwardly mix the salad on my plate, which did not work too well. We've gone there several times now and it seems after Labor Day they lost a lot of good staff, the food is now coming out half-arsed or bizarro. We noticed they had a sign in front advertising for help for about every staff position.... not a good omen. I tried to contact a manager through Facebook to no avail. There never seems to be a manager present, and the problems there are getting out of control. A real shame because they have a decent menu, and if made correctly, would make it a fun place to have a meal (pub atmosphere). The Thai Hut right around the corner makes consistently excellent soups, curries, appetizers, and entrees--- good sized portions, reasonable pricing. We'll probably check back at the Grill every once in a while hoping things have straightened out, but for right now I'd say the management doesn't care what is served in what condition. We'll most likely watch the reviews on here, too, as a good indication if anything has improved. Let's hope.

We were looking for a non-chain place for lunch on a trip through NC. We found Blackwood's on the internet, and it is only a mile off the highway. So we went.It feels like a "drive-in" and they will serve your food to your vehicle if you'd like. We got out and sat at picnic tables in the front. Well worn picnic tables but it adds to the atmosphere. The place is swamped with locals which is always a good sign. Really good food, friendly service, good menu choices, and very inexpensive ($21 for 3 adults!).This is worth the detour.Blackwood's is not a 5-star restaurant but the experience was fun so I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and rating them a 5.If this review is helpful then please indicate so below.
