Even thought it is steakhouse, their chicken is really great! We tried the chicken breast with ham and melted cheese. Oh my goodness that is good. Definitely get it again. Pair with a baked sweet potato and their bread and it is a winner.
Recently had breakfast here but neither of us were too impressed. Yes, it's a 'hometown' place full of locals, no frills atmosphere, and typical 'diner' flair....but my pancake was heavy and dense and the omelette was nearly cold. Based on the prices on the menu, we estimated our bill to be about $11 + tax...but it rang up $16. Perhaps their southern cooking is better than their breakfast.

Had a late lunch today at Gary's. As usual, the food was hot and delicious. The dining room was clean and shiny. There is always one or two employees cleaning tables and the floor. There is a reason the place is always busy; the food, the waitstaff and the dedication of everyone working there.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch as we traveled home from visiting relatives. After waiting a few minutes for someone to show up at the host stand, we were seated. Although we are on restricted diets, we were able to find foods on our diet (grilled trout, chicken tenders) that were both well prepared. The service was friendly and attentive.

The snow hit the area and events planned for the day were cancelled. We stayed in and decided to have brunch at IHOP. Good choice and others had the same idea. seated with no delay and our server greeted us and took the drink order. Friendly service and we took advantage of the +55 choices on the menu. Pancakes are always good and came with our choices. Our server often checked on us and kept the coffee hot and we took a "to-go" cup as well. Location is easy to get off I-85 and look for Cloverleaf Mall entrance. This would be a good stop when traveling.

My husband and I stopped here before we headed out to a game. It was recommended by the clerk at our hotel. The place was clean and has a little bar area. Our bartender was really very nice, her name is not on the receipt and I don't remember it. We ordered the pub pretzels with the beer cheese. They were yummy, we werent expecting them to be fried but they were so good! They were actually better than the wings. We each ordered 5 wings and they came with a bunch of carrots and celery at no charge which was nice, but they were soaking wet and there was water in the dish. Now, onto the wings. We each liked that they were sort of crispy, but we could only chew and swallow the meat from the flappers. The meat from the drums was impossible to chew. We just chewed and chewed until we had to spit out the meat. We have never had to do that with meat from chicken wings. If we are back in the area again, we will try another wing place.

Stopped in for dinner and we were both pleased. They were somewhat busy but we were seated and served within a few minutes. Great shrimp and steak. Very friendly waitress who checked on us several times. We recommend a visit and we'll eat here again the next time we are traveling through.

This is a great little joint for burgers, dogs, and sandwiches, and donât forget the shakes and root beer floats. Itâs nothing fancy but itâs done right and always good. The service is friendly and attentive. As good as lunch and dinner is here, itâs also a great spot for breakfast too.

This small, friendly, family-owned, restaurant was a nice find while my family was spending some time in the Kannapolis area. We returned a few times during our stay. While the restaurant tags itself as "king of wings", we did not get an opportunity to try their wings. However, we did try a number of other items on their menu. All of the items we tried were tasty, reasonably priced and served in large portions. The pizza was our favorite and is heads and shoulders above the national chains. For me, the success of a pizza is all about the crust. And Flyin' Buffalo gets that right! They have a medium-thickness, New York-style crust with just the perfect amount of chewiness. This was topped with a very nice tomato sauce and a generous amount of cheese. The pizza is definitely worth a return visit. The most unique item we tried was the "deep-fried corn." And it is just as you may imagine: a large ear of yellow corn which has been deep-fried. And while it may sound like something from a state fair, but it was actually really tasty. Overall, we had several good experiences and some really nice pizza. I look forward to a future visit.

You are guaranteed 4 things when you eat at Breakfasttme: good food, great prices, quick service, and a wait to get in. Guarantee #4 is a direct result of guarantees 1-3, but the wait is usually tolerable and the time estimates accurate. This is not the place you would take someone for a romantic fist date, but it's a great place for a cheap date!
