Looking for a place to eat not to far from where we live we ended up in this restaurant. The concept is quit simple and smart. You can eat as much as you want for a certain price. Only condition: you need to finish the dish before asking a new dish. Because it takes some time and the staff is very efficient in asking if you want another drink, at the end of the evening/diner the bill is still high.But the food is excellent, nicely served and very friendly staff.Do we ever return here? The answer is "yes" but not to often.A good example of innovating an old concept into a modern way of making money.

I dined here when staying in the BW hotel next to it. They have a seasonal menu (not sure why end march they presented the winter menu, but ok), but also a la carte choices.I went for the forest mushroomsoup. This was excellent. After that I took the mixed grill. The waitress asked me how I wanted my steak. I told here, "bien cuit". She never heard of such a way to cook meat. A bit strange for an international hotel.I also asked for pepper sauce. Sadly, this was not a sauce but had some kind of painty texture. Nevertheless, the meat was cooked excellent after all and the salad next to it was accompaying it very well.And, a very big +, finally, a duch chef who did not serve some kind of pinapple, kiwi, melon or orange on his main dish. Thank you !

We reserved a table inside but as it was a beautiful warm evening the staff already had table ready outside for us with a view of the castle. We had the âSneukelplankâ which is a selection of delicious meats and cheeses, served with fresh bread. Delicious local beers and a wide selection of wines were available at fair prices.Staff were friendly and attentive.Later on in the evening as it got colder we sat inside by the fire and shared a surprise desert sharing plate, which was delicious!All in all a perfect evening, would return again as this is now my favorite place in Deurne.

Luxurious restaurant in a former convent which is also a hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Good ambiance. All main courses, contrary to the restaurant's plush surroundings, are rather simple and served on thick rustic wooden planks. This may be gimmicky but it is totally out of place and one expects this in completely different surroundings. Although the food is tasty, portions are minimal particularly when judged against the fairly high price. House wine expensive too. So, on balance my verdict is "poor".

Dropped in with the family for a quick dinner. It can and will get busy here during peak hours. They have take away but you can also sit indoor and outdoor. Food is pretty good. They do have more than just fries and snacks.

After a drink we decided to stay for dinner. The food was better than expected (because it is a brasserie and not a restaurant), and the service was very friendly, informing if everything was okay or if they could do anything for us. The atmosphere is relax. Only the prices are maybe a bit on the high side. I would reccommend it for couples or small groups.

In the centre of Deurne, you have this excellent restaurant. In the evening a view on the church in the spotlights. A nice couple running this place, personal attention, a good menu and good glass of wine. What more do you want when you are going out.

The personal attention, nice ambiance and most of all the very good quality of the food make us come here over and over again. The menu changes by the season and there are always specials to choose from. Also nice to sit outside. The price is very reasonable for the quality served.
