In ons restaurant is het genieten van de mooie sfeer en het goede eten. De ruimtes zijn karakteristiek en eigentijds. De heerlijkste gerechten, met zorg samengesteld en vergezeld door een brede selectie bieren en wijnen. Kwaliteit, goede smaak, producten
Frequented by locals, germans and vacationers. Music is on the square every weekend in the summer. The stork babies above nesting on the towers are an attraction in them selves. Just stop in have a beer and a meal old dutch style.

This restaurant caters specially for park guests of Landal de Vers. Therefore, the main public is families with children. The noise levels therefore are quite high. If you wish to avoid that, go a it later as the families tend to be gone at 8. The dishes are plate like dishes, with (in the season) some asparagus dishes which stand out from the normal ones (sateh with fries, steak, carpaccio). For the kids, there are several choices including ones containg surpises for them (they love it!)They are not bad though , but expect no culinary surprises. There is a limited selection of wines.

we made reservations on a very warm day - they managed to get us a table outside ! the concept is unique - 50% dishes ! so small and large portions - ideal !!!!!!!!!!!Than the quality of the food - this is just excellent . All the dishes of the four people in our party were very good quality well cooked and decent portions . We had several 50% dishes and 100% dishes as salmon, asperges with salmon , dubbeldekker (very nice ! ) , pork of the chef , etc Service is very good and friendly .Deserts are of high quality - yoghurt strip (very nice) and mousse of passion fruit (excellent!!!) I went to 't Rimpelt with a work colleague that lives in the area. The place was very pleasant, the staff was extremely friendly, and the food was excellent - cooked to perfection with very fresh ingredients. Apparently the chef learned to cook from his mother, and she still checks up on him to make sure he's doing it the local Dutch way! I had the mustard soup (excellent), and the ox steak (again cooked perfectly, not overly salted and very tasty). For dessert I had ice cream with a local egg liquore and raisins - sounds a bit strange but typical for the area and very good. The local beer (Brand DubbelBock) was great. Service was also fantastic - just the right amount of attention while allowing us to converse, and the price was quite reasonable. I will go here again if I'm in the area!

My family and I, arrived at 18.45. We studied the menu and ordered a four course meal. After a little snack, a few amuses bouches were served, they were very tasty and beautifully plated so we were really looking forward to our dinner. The starter arrived at about 20.15 and the intermediate dish more than an hour later. The quality of the food was excellent well prepared and beautifully positioned on the plate. So we waited and waited for our main course. At 22.00 we asked how long the main course would take. it was almost ready but after 15 minutes still no main course. We were not hungry anymore, too much time in between the courses killed our appetite. So we decided to quit, so my son in law looked for the manager outside the dining room to explain the matter in a discrete manner.Unfortunately the manager was quite upset and entered the dining room and in the presence of all the other guests started a fervid discussion. Not very subtle. Also a staff of a restaurant has to realize the presence of teenagers, such long waiting times are difficult and children get easily bored.

A great place for lunch, dinner and drinks.
The Douairiere is a central place in Boxmeer where you can have drinks and food. I went here on a Friday night and a Sunday afternoon. The service wasnât always that good, as it took very long before they saw we wanted something to order. We got some bites with our drinks, which were nice. A nice place to go with friends.

We were here after the birth of our son's twins in à nearby hospital, had never seen the place before. We were pleasantly surprised by the way the restaurant looked. Nice young men as waiters, still some things to learn but were doing their best. The entrecotes, lamb and steak tasted good and were presented with veggies, salad and chips (Brabant it is). Speedy service, as we had requested. We will be back!
