Looks like to be goodVery nice place, nice decoration, nice service. With all these you expect to have great food but we were very disappointed by what we received. Honestly serving French fries with fish does not exist in a French restaurant. Veal should be tender but it was well done, almost like what do I call stofvlees. All this served with 'bitterballen'Ri-di-cu-lous! Looks like Dutch are trying to imitate French cuisine

An old local government offices, in a village called Lithoijen.
Glad that we found a cosy restaurant close to 'Het Land van Maas en Waal'. Not far from the 'Village at the River" Lith. To get there we took the ferry over the river Maas. In Lithoijen we found one of the better restaurants in the country of cherries and apples.Good food an an entousiastic waiter who served us in an excellent way. The food is just a little more surprizing than the average cafe to eat and the atmosphere is pleasant.
door de jaren heen is dit restaurant veranderd. eerst kon je er voor een goed en goedkoop drie gangen menu terecht. de prijs is nu echt hoger. het eten was wel goed.

Friendly en cousie restaurant in de historic city of Megen. We serve dishes influanced by different cuisines prepared with love and care.
Our meals were traditional and fresh. All were tasty. We enjoyed the meal and the service. It was a very pleasant surprise as we just stopped in with no fore planning.

Situated by lakes and woods the location and good food attracted lots of people, especially families with children. Lots of outside seating and we sweltered in the sun.Friendly English speaking attentive staff. I enjoyed the Dutch duck even if it was a bit chewy. A superb red wine sauce and nutty salad. My wife had sea bass. For Afters a cone with lemonchello ice cream rounded off a delightful meal.

Excellent restaurant with great service! The food was great, as was the ambiance and the service. Weekdays or weekends, this is a really nice place to meet and eat!

We went on a recommendation of a local and we were pleasantly surprised! The bistro is situated in a cosy street, full with terraces of the local bars and restaurants. The reception is very friendly and Bistro Louis has a Parisian feel to it. Also the menu includes some French classics. We opted for a 3 course surprise menu (prepared by the chef with âlâamourâ) after having shared a plate of bellota jamon. An assorted fish starter, a delicious steak mignon and a colourful feast of desserts were all attentfully presented (and explained for).A place to return to.

We recently had dinner in this superb restaurant. We were welcomed by the friendly staff and seated at our table. We had chosen the five course 'menu gastronomique' and kicked off with some excellent amuses. This was followed by a tartare, codfish and smoked eel, Mul with shrimps, mango and couscous, Duck with goose liver and pumpkin and finally babana with chocolate and salted macadamia. All these dishes looked like pictures perfect and tasted heavenly. From the impressive winelist we chose a wide selection of wines, some also recommended by the maitre. Prices of the wines are by the way quite impressive as well, but we 'managed' to pick excellent bottles in the region of ⬠60,00/70,00 per bottle. Their water supply was hefty, we could also easily trace back on our final bill. However, having said that, it was worth it.Heavenly food, nice place, comfy seats, good vibe, great staff and hands on maitre D slash sommelier all resulted in a great evening. This place truly deserves its star, including the high rankin the the 'Lekker' restaurant guide.

Oonivoo. Born from our passion for wine, riped to a gastronomic adventure. Chef Thijs Berkers and his team cooks using only the best ingredients, while sommelier Sven Heijkoop is always looking for the best wine/spice combinations.
I ate here when on a business trip to the Netherlands, as with nearly all the restaurants I have visited in the Netherlands the food ad service were lovely. The decor is modern and the place is relaxing with superb staff who spoke perfect English and were happy to explain the dishes to me. I had 3 courses and thoroughly enjoyed my lunch here. I would definitely return here if in the area, and can highly recommend this place.Hi Rick. Thank you very much for the kind words. We appreciate it! Good to read that you recommend our place. We hope to see you again sometime at Oonivoo! Have a safe trip homel Kind Regards,Team Oonivoo.
