We really enjoyed our dinner at the Swaen in Oisterwijk. The food was execellent; nice bisque, carpaccio and for main course I loved the sole. The ambiance in the restaurant is stylish and welcoming and the service friendly and professional. All for a very reasonable price. Will go back for sure and will recommend the restaurant to others.

Weâve visited this place with friends, the friendly host served fine food. As a starter we had Pulpo, head course tournedos and desert the cheesecake. I can recommend everybody to go to this cosy place.

A very busy fully booked restaurant on the 2nd day of Christmas and still able to do an a la carte menu. We did not go for that and took the 'surprise' menu. There was a mix of fish and meat but also the choise to not like one or the other. With 3 at our table, one wanted wish, the other only meat and the third person took the mix. This was NO problem or them. We had dinner at a nice speed and it was good too. Nice atmosphere in a 'historic' kind of place.

This restaurant begun a year ago as part of the hotel after it had been restarted after the former went bankrupt. A very nice ambiance; romantic and not too much rumour. Good for couples and smaller groups. The waiters were quick and attentive. Especially Jan was fun and a very open and communicative. But you come for the food which was good and tasty. A mixture of Dutch and French style food. You can choose a three-course from the whole menu which has a lot of variety. Good wine and drinks to go with a joyful evening.

We had a great evening at Bistrot C.! As a group of three friends we each took the three course menu (you choose from the whole card for just 24,50â¬) and each course was typically French, delicious and with clearly home-made ingredients. The atmosphere and the authentic cuisine takes you to France for an evening and the service was attentive and extremely friendly. Definitely recommend for authentic French food and a charming family owned restaurant!

Sec is just amazing. If you visit Oisterwijk, you have to eat there. A starter like mussels in curry cocos sauce was just fantastic. The tournedos, so tender. All fresh products. The staff is friendly and they know their ingredients. I will definitely go back again.

We had a family lunch in the separate Tuinkamer. Airconditioning helped as it was one of the warmer days of the year. After a nice welcome and bubbles, the three course menu (choices for starter, main and desert) was good. Very nice presentation and timely service. The food was good but perhaps somewhat overcomplicated with too many ingredients fighting for recognition. We heard no complaints and everyone enjoyed the beautiful plates. The extra charge for a cheese board instead of sweet desert was a bit excessive but the cheese selection was ok. House wines are priced slightly too high for the quality. The friandises should be changed - the current selection is not great nor are the tastes very well balanced. All in all a very nice lunch and we gladly return. Service is friendly.
