We aten voor de tweede keer bij de Coninck. Het was wederom erg lekker, goede porties en vlotte service. Voor elke portemonnee wat wils. Goede wijn erbij, wat wil een mens nog meer? De inrichting is knus, alleen de franse muziek ontbreekt nog om je in een echte franse bistro te wanen. Als dit restaurant op de markt zat zouden er rijen staan! Dus enige minpunt is de locatie.

Hi guys,This is not a cheap restaurant.So I expected excellent dishes.I was disappointed.The starter: smoked salmon and 2 crispy grilles gamba's. (standerd, but not bad).The main course: rabbit and some veggies. And extremely greasy French fries. (Bah).The dessert was an absolute low. The whipped cream was not home made.The icecream, I have had better.RegardsSchliek.

We went here for my mothers birthday because we wanted to spoil her a bit.I can tell you we succeeded in our task :-)We went for the three course bib gourmand lunch menu. |The portions are exactly right (not too much and also not too small) and very tasty.We tried both starters, both main courses and both desserts and they're all really yummy.We went back home, knowing that we gave my mother a birthday present she would remember for a long time!

We had the sashimi starter which was really excellent and unexpected. Then as the restaurant filled, the waiting time got longer. The bisque was very good. And then what seemed to be a long wait for the main course. The South-African Chardonnay was very good and so did the rest of the wine card. Main courses were OK. Staff could be more outgoing.
