North Berwick (/nɔːrθ ˈbɛrɪk/; Scottish Gaelic: Bearaig a Tuath) is a seaside town and former royal burgh in East Lothian, Scotland. It is situated on the south shore of the Firth of Forth, approximately 25 miles (40 km) north-east of Edinburgh. North Berwick became a fashionable holiday resort in the nineteenth century because of its two sandy bays, the East (or Milsey) Bay and the West Bay, and continues to attract holidaymakers. Golf courses at the ends of each bay are open to visitors.

Tasty bargain 2 or 3 course lunch menu. Food as good as I have eaten in Italy.
Lunch for both of us with drinks just £25.05 and we both enjoyed it. Would definitely go back next time we're in North Berwick and recommend it to our friends. A traditional family run Italian eatery with no silly gimmicks or fancy prices.
Great friendly service and really clean including the toilets.

Pub
We popped in for some lunch on a cold day. The pub might look like a little old when you walk in but the staff are very welcoming and everyone inside was having a lovely time.
They are very dog friendly with more than half a dozen friendly four legged friends clapped while we were in. The food pizza we had was cracking, they show football and have a vast selection of fine biers.
Enjoy your visit.

We had dinner here on Valentines night. (we were pleased that there was no rip-off special Valentines menu!). Service was excellent, lovely decor and atmosphere and food was terrific - especially the lamb cutlets.(orange and fennel salad also excellent). Would definitely return and would highly recommend. Pricing towards the higher end but you get what you pay for!

Well you can't really get much fresher than this place. Friends had recommended it and we weren't disappointed. We sat under the sheltered area and waited because the place does sometimes have to shut for a short time to change oil and then reheat the fat which is good to know that hygiene is of importance.
We ordered the half lobster, calamari and breaded haddock. I was devastated because the seafood scotch egg had run out and I was so set on trying it... maybe next time.
The portions were large and if you're a family, I would ask if you can share chips because there was too much and I felt terrible about the food wastage.
The lobster was very tasty, be prepared to get your hands dirty but well worth it. The calamari was cooked to perfection as was the fish.
No complaints from all of us and even the wine they have is good. All in all very happy customers.

I have a 'thing' about decent coffee! I'm very fussy, but on the recommendation of the local deli we tried out 'Cake'. We'll be back next time we are in the area!!!

"Newly opened, but the food is so good I think it should be on Trip Advisor"Zitto is an Italian Wine Bar offering over 50 different superb wines, many by the glass and, new to East Lothian, we invite you to try our tasting list where you can "sample" four different 50ml glasses of top quality wines at low cost before deciding which to order. We also specialise in a range of tempting SPUNTINI the delicious Italian improvement on Tapas! In addition Zitto has a family friendly Trattoria (Italian for Bistro) offering a comprehensive, and realistically priced, range of Pizza, Pasta and traditional Italian homemade dishes. Our head chef, Ronnie Clark, was previously head chef at the celebrated, award winning, Umberto's Restaurant in Edinburgh. The Trattoria can be also accessed from the car park to the rear. We prefer the Wine Bar to be over 18's only. Sorry, no dogs, even if they speak Italian.
We went for lunch using an Itison voucher for Pizza/pasta and wine. We half expected Italian chain formula food but couldn't have been more wrong. It was home cooked pizza and lasagne and both were excellent. The waitress asked if we intended to share and then arranged to give us each a half portion on our plates to make it easier - great idea and great service all round.

Have visited this place a lot over the years but was reminded by how pleasant it is when visiting with friends from England yesterday. Clean eating area, friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble for them, great chip shop fare. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff and thoroughly enjoyed our food, which was freshly cooked to order and piping hot. Thanks again, the children said they can't wait to visit for more of your chips!

Having walked along the beach we decided to go into north Berwick for evening meal however the Lobster shack was closed 5.55pm :-( we really wanted to try the local lobster however the lobster shack has another place called the Rocketeer restaurant Fantastic it's open however only Seating is outside in the open ( looks a bit like rain)we take a chance outside and your right it starts to rain :-( .
The table next to us is reserved from 6.30 so the staff let us use it to keep dry with the promise we will move by 6.25.
