This was a very nice visit! I went there to get pizza for me and my family (my husbond and two girls, 2 and 4 years old) The pizza-guy did not speak english (maybe a few words) and I only understand a bit of french, we tried our best to agree on a pizza for the girls and on two adult pizzas after his choise, and everything was absolutely nice he was so friendly and the pizza tasted awesome! Go there, even if you donât know alot of french!

They also have take-out pizza. It is a nice looking upscale restaurant, but I ordered a a regular margarita take-out pizza for one-It cost 9 Euros, and it was the size of a small American dinner plate, way too small for the price. It came out too quikly,
I was staying at the wonderful Hotel Oscar down the street from this place-I wandered in at 7 when they opened-it was a modern sleek Italian restaurant withtake-out pizza, also. As soon as I walked in, I noticed no smells of baking dough/oregano/garlic, etc. A warning to me-I should have left then-but, I did not-it was pouring rain and I did not want to go exploring. I ordered the Margherita-8 Euros 50 Cents. It came out WAY too quickly! Frozen Dough! and in a very small box, the size of a small American dinner plate. When I opened it back at the hotel, it was without oregano/basil, and it consisted of very cheap gooey cheese and a few drops of canned tomato sauce. Totally disgusting, and inedible. I threw it away, and finished off the wine and pastries in my room instead. Don't know how the restaurant was-but DO NOT order take-out pizza from this place!

We had a really good menu, and everything was as it should have been. Not many gests that night, but that was not because of the food. Tables outside as well

We were a party of 8 including a small child. It was a Saturday and the restaurant was full, so it advisable to reserve. The decor is cosy with warm drift wood on the walls and mirrors, with space between tables. Guests can see what is going on in the kitchen. Most of us ordered pizzas, but there was one seafood pasta (delicious) and a carbonara (an adolescent in need of calories !) which were very good, the toppings were fresh. The pizza toscane which I had was topped with cured ham, olives parmesan and tomatoes with roquette lettuce leaves. Deserts were varied from ice cream to home made offerings. Service was good and definitely children friendly!Eat in or take away this a great little Italian restaurant. For take away ordering they have a well presented website which shows exactly what your getting.

First Italian gourmet restaurant in Le Havre, \"The Sorrento \" offers you to enjoy a rich and varied menu of dishes typical Neapolitans. As in Italy, the freshness of the products and the authentic style will satisfy the most curious minds. Facing the fi
I went here with a large group and enjoyed some fantastic antipasto, the main course was a little heavy but the theatre when the food was served more than made up for this. The whole party was served promptly and the cafe gourmand to finish was delightful. The staff and the atmosphere were perfect.I would return

Like the other posters, it's strange that La Sardaigne has only just featured on TripAdvisor. I have to visit Le Havre for a couple of days on business every six months or so and found the restaurant on a monday night when not a lot else is open. Now it's my default place for dinner on each trip, having a steak or pizza on each night for variety. Always made to feel very welcome, and they even found me a table when packed during the music festival a couple of years ago. A normal restaurant in a tourist place can just shrug and say sorry, but not here. The steak, sauce and frites meals are very good. The pizzas are done in an electric oven, but it's hot enough to get the base nice and crispy still. I consider the value very good for the quality of the food. In France price can often skyrocket and quality be unchanged, but not here. The owner and head waitress are charming and treat you like an old friend, and they do this with everyone that visits meaning there's a warm atmosphere of people passing through the port, and local regulars.

In front of the sea, having beer, cocktail ? You are at l'Amarino, with nice italian cuisine and french "specialities" like Steak or Mussels with french Fries. You will enjoy as well our traditional home made ice cream, fantastic flavor . Our atmosphere l
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, like the 16 odd open on the beach promenade during the extended summer months. Food is reasonable, quantities are just about right. Food is fresh where it can be. Service was reasonable, at time haptic. Dear Dutch-Mickey,Thank you for your comments, we understood that you were happy with the food but that service can be improved. Your comments will help us to increase our awareness on how to improve our customer experience.See you soon in Le Havre.Best RegardsL'Amarino
