We were walking past this restaurant when the chef making his own noodles caught our attention. How nice would it be to have fresh hand made noodles instead of the packaged stuff you normally get. We went in and weren't disappointed. The cafe is small but it has 2 other shops opposite as well. We ordered duck soup, dumplings and shumai.Wow. Awesome. Cooked beautifully with the traditional asian seasonings. There are framed articles on the wall from various publications written about this restaurant and rightly so. It is marvellous and well with the visit.

Came here on a winters evening...nothing else open! Wow! Try the beef with cumin or sate crevette with ginger, it will make you happy. Salted caramel ice cream to follow. Probably the best meal we had in Rouen.

Been there with a couple of friends just before the end of the lunch service. Possible to eat in (a few tables and chairs) or take away. Great service with great food! It's really cool to create your own wok! You can even see the employees cooking your wok in front of you! Very value meal. I intend to go there again with family or friends.

I will say before getting into the hard bit that their other site around the corner on the next street is excellent! The larger site however is extremely poor. As a veggie I do not eat fish or meat. I ordered items that were strickly veggie. Tempura vegetables should NOT taste and smell of fish! I did complain while at the restaurant, but it was ignored. Even the Yakatori Tofu was not cut properly or completely grilled. The miso soup was ok, but not very warm. The cup of saki was not heated properly. The rice was cold. The only thing that was right was the chilled bottle of mineral water! I will go to the smaller location one street over, but never back to this one. The service was very lax and when I complained there was a so sorry - so sorry, but it was not handled. I even had to wait 10 minutes for the bill. When I called I was told it was impossible for the vegetables to taste of fish when I called back - so I guess I made it all up in my mind????? Still waiting on a call back!

Le Square Henri IV, Vietnamese restaurant located in Rouen, offers traditional Vietnamese and Asian dishes tasty, and authentic with fresh products on site or take away.
This is a cozy lovely place. The simplified design evokes both the "Vietnamese feeling" and a modern ambiance. I particularly love Bo bun (rice noodles with beef) here as it reserves the most authentic taste overseas. I also like to talk to the lady owner who owns a PhD in Chemistry but her love for business and restaurant brings her out of the ivory tower. That makes her such a strong and interesting lady to discuss things with!

We were traveling as a couple. Reading the comments, I was enthousiastic. Unfortunately, this restaurant is merely your standard chines take away, pimped with some tables. Food was take away food, nothing special... the fact that you order numbers says it all... don't go there, just order them as take away...Dear Guest,Greetings from Rouen. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. We are sorry to read your disappointment. Your comment will be shared with our entire team. Ou rmain goal is to maintain our quality of food and service and keeping on welcoming happy clients to our restaurant.Best wishes for a happy New Year 2016.Best regards.

Had a really nice dinner here, with excellent service. The food was not very spicy but very fragrant and nicely cooked. The waiter forgot my husbands beer and gave us our coffees free of charge to apologize. The dog was also allowed inside which was lovely.
