Trouville's Casino was opened in 1912 after just 14 months of work. A real tribute to the wild evenings of the 19th century, the fine dining restaurant "Le 1912" was designed by MrJean-Philippe Nuel our interior architect to be a welcoming and an elegant
Like most restaurants that carry the prestige of a Michelin star, there is creative flair on the menu. We did not sample via degustation what the chef can create so I wont comment on that - I'm sure he is a superb chef. The restaurant is located within an Accor hotel in an odd corner with almost no views - well the balcony perhaps, but you have to stand up to see anything else. This is compounded by the fact that if you're staying at the Hotel (as most do) - its the breakfast room which means any ambience is lost.Given the hotel caters to international guests, I find the lack of English accommodated annoying. There is no English menu, simply a translation by the waiter - helpful but not what I'd expect. Yes I know there's the whole French/English thing but just get over it and move into the current century please! (This extends to the hotel too)We had Lamb and Sea Bass.. both excellently prepared and delightful in flavour, freshness and quality.. no exceptionsThe restaurant would benefit substantially from a relocation to something befitting the stature of the Star it carries, and would lend somewhat to the prices that can be charged accordinglyChère Jandkat,Je suis désolé de voir que notre service de traduction automatique NFC par Flashcode ne vous ait pas convaincu. Cordialement,Johan THYRIOT Chef Executif

Bar à manger/tapas à base de produits frais, fruits de mer locaux, Bar à vins bio/végan, Bar à Cocktails mixologie/création.
This newly opened bar served us fantastic drinks. The staff is also great. I had their Litchi and passion, which was awesome for anyone who doesn't like sweet drinks. My husband had their frozen strawberry margarita and it was well balanced with great strawberry taste. We also shared a dish with charcuterie and cheese from Normandy.

Family-run bistro specialising in wines from selected small producers and a seasonal menu. Scallops, fresh fish, juicy steaks and burgers, a daily special and home-made desserts. Child portions. Sunny terrace during the summer season and Sunday lunch. Fam
We promised ourselves a meal here before the end of our holiday having driven past it several times visiting the village beach. Itâs looks so inviting. So we went on our last night and we are so glad we did. To our delight itâs run by a friendly British couple. Friendly Restaurants in France seemed to be hard to find on our holiday so we felt instantly relaxed from the lovely warm welcome. The menu looked great and choosing became all the more difficult seeing the delicious plates of food being brought out to other diners. But choose we did and we were delighted with our choice. The fish was cooked to perfection and just melted in your mouth and the mixture of flavours in the dish were wonderful. We had a home made desert too which was equally devine. The atmosphere was so cozy and relaxing. Our only regret was that we waited until our last night to go there otherwise we would have returned several times! A must eat at if your in the area. You wonât be disappointed.
