We were pleasantly surprised, the fruits de mer starter was excellent. The fish choice was off the menu, but they explained what was on offer, in fact some other fish, a great tuna dish. Food was well cooked and staff helpful.

Time for lunch after spending far too long fighting for a car park. We wanted to eat on the sea front and this looked the ticket.Once we were attended to, we got a great table. Service was slow and unenthusiastic. We both chose the langoustine risotto. The seafood was a bit over cooked but the risotto itself was lovely. However, once counting the cost (over 50 euro for two entree sized risotto, two ciders and espressos) and the just-donât-care service, I cannot really recommend this place.

Guys, in places like this you can be almost 100% sure that you are a) in a tourist trap; b) the food will be mediocre in the best case; c) so does the service (long waiting time and "I don't care much" attitude. So, whether you are ready to accept it and trade it for a good view - up to you. We've just had a little snack after our walk up tho the cliff, enjoyed the view, stretched our legs and then went to a better place to eat that we had found using the reviews from this site.

Charming small seafood restaurant in tiny Yport with great food. Building is easily recognizable by its Penn Dutch barn type roof - you'll see it. Inside is a pleasant modern appointed restaurant with a nice bright feeling. Great food! We enjoyed moulle frites, bulots, shrimp and veggies. Delicious, fresh and memorable. ...

We visited for my mother in laws birthday, my first fine dining with my French family! It's a very down to earth place where you experience high quality food with a view. The salmon and the cod (cabillaud) were incessible, as were other 4 courses! I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

This resto serves fast snacks. If you are hungry you certainly find something for your self and your youngsters. We tried a salty pancake with several toppings. It is not a large portion so expect to be hungry again within a few hours.

Oysters, shrimp were delicious, but the main course fish choices (all three) were served with really bland sauces. Most of the local lunch crowd ordered the Seafood platters for lunch, not the three course menu plus shrimp a la carte like we did. Reserve a table upstairs for the view and it smelled fishy downstairs. The young male server was horrible. We requested a fork, sparkling water, wine, our bill, and it usually took three reminders before he'd bring them! Can't eat oysters without a fork so it was very frustrating.

Giant Normandy oysters. Fresh shrimp. Perfect batter on the delicious fish and chips. Great cider. Everything is great about this place thatâs off the beach strip so itâs not subjected to that sea view premium. Helpful and pleasant staff with just enough English eager to assist.

Reservez uniquement par téléphone entre 10h30 et 14h30 et entre 18h30 et 21h sauf le mercredi Merci
In the morning I tried to make a reservation to eat outside on the terras. This is unfortunately not possible. The management only can guarantee a table INSIDE the restaurant if you make a reservation. On the terras outside there are only high tables with bar chairs available , so be aware . Inside the restaurant the atmosphere is good and the service too. Our waiter spoke very good English and was very helpful , in many French restaurants this is not the case I am afraid. There was NO menu in English available , I always find this very strange as this village is very touristy and the goal is to make as much money as possible for any restaurant I would say. To create a little English menu would cost little effort I think (tip to the managment ??) The food was excellent and presented in a nice way and came on time. The place is not really a family restaurant I have to say , unless your kids are great seafood lovers or can settle for fish and chips. For the rest I can only recommend this place !
