Deservedly a Maitre Patissier Traiteur, member of l'Académie Culinaire de France, which loosely translated means delicious patisserie to die for ((very special coffee eclairs)). They have an art deco cafe above the shop with good fresh salads and other snacks including omelette and chips; a calm quiet atmosphere and good views, all spotlessly clean. Good value, too. Lovely! Beware narrow spiral staircase, so not suitable young children or disabled.

Two of us chose from a blackboard for a â¬25 menu. First course a wonderful whelk in profiteroles and good whitebait. We both had fish ¬a Ray and a Red Snapper with good sauces then a Normandy pudding. Nice wine Friendly efficient and quick service. Will go again!

Based on TripAdvisor reviews I was expecting something special. It wasnât bad. But definitely not special. On the night we were there they crammed all the couple into tables lining the entrance to the kitchen and set up the rest of the ground floor for a party of 12. Fortunately they arrived after we had been served. I had a very unexciting, tasteless Terrine de Foie Gras as an appetizer. It was bizarre because it had absolutely no flavour. I had the sweetbreads as my main. They were served in a tiny casserole dish with a cream sauce and potatoes. They were again rather bland and tasteless. Very disappointing. My wife had the entrecôte du boeuf and it was excellent. Perfectly cooked and very flavourful. Bottom line, nothing was bad. The beef was very good. My dishes were disappointing. Wouldnât recommend.

Having visited twice with my daughter in 2015, I was keen to take my wife as well. This is a classic bistro with well prepared and presented food. It's justifiably popular with French gourmands so it's worth booking. Not cheap but good value.

We first found this lovely place in 2012, just driving by with our friends who were visiting from US. I distinctly remember popping in, to be met by the owner, who was very friendly and accommodating. We had a fantastic meal and subsequently have visited on many an occasion, and left each time with a sated and happy feeling.Well, Sunday 20 August, a warm sunny afternoon, we turned without a reservation. We were shown to a newly refurbished patio, which frame the scenic views. Amuse bouche to accompany our Kir Royales was very tasty - slice of watermelon, cucumber in a vinaigrette and foie gras (hubby polished off mine with gusto as I am a vegetarian). My starter of cauliflower veloute with a poached egg was done to perfection. Hubby had salmon tartare which he said was sublime. Half a bottle of rose, sun streaming down, and out comes a of crushed ice with calvados - super palate cleanser!! With our fantastic mains of ravioli with truffles and fish of the day for him - like a previous reviewer has said, we had that contented satisfied feeling. The food has definitely gone up a notch. Panacota dessert rounded up a first class meal. Service was friendly and helpful. The owner /chef came out to speak to us, and his passion for cooking and the Auberge (it has some lovely rooms overlooking the sea) are apparent. It remains a firm favourite

This is a small restaurant of twenty covers. Booking is essential at weekends. Why? Because the decor is smart, the food exceptional and the wine list interesting. Quite difficult to find....it is behind the church on the cliffs to the east of the river/estury. Easy parking and some sea views. Run by the chef and his confident wife. The food is presented splendidly and the tastes are perfect. The prices match the quality.

Celebrating a milestone birthday at my favourite restaurant, Laurent's special menu dégustation was a tour de force. His courgette fleur farcie, crème mousseuse et filet d'huile parfumé à la truffe is exquisite. From start to finish his artistry and subtle use of local seasonal ingredients demonstrated what a great chef he is.Of course Christian and the team provided superb service with a human touch!

Restaurant panoramique, cuisine bistronomique, qui fait la part belle aux produits locaux, service convivial. décoration moderne.
We were staying in Dieppe overnight before catching a ferry to the UK. It was a Sunday and we knew that finding a place to have an evening meal might be difficult. We headed to the Casino on the sea-front. The restaurant has a stunning view over the sea. There are plenty of friendly staff and a great choice on the menu. We both chose the steaks. Oh my goodness - what a superb choice. The best steaks I've ever eaten. Every plate and amuse bouche arrived looking like a work of art. Absolutely perfect.
