Situated on the bank of the Mekong, with some offsite dedicated parking,Daeng Namnuang is a must visit venue in Nong Khai. With a very high ratio of staff to customers, you are served very quickly. Food is always to an excellent standard, fresh and wholesome. Prices are very reasonable. Toilets are very clean.

Jing Joe is the Thai word for kangaroo. We are close to the Mekong River and visitor accommodation, Jing Joe offers a friendly laid back atmosphere and serves great Pizza, Pasta and more. A daily special is also on offer covering lots of Western favourites. Try our BIG Aussie breakfast. Open from 7.30 am till 2.30 pm & 5.30 pm till 10 pm Sunday through Friday (closed on Saturday) Hop on in,you won't be disappointed.
After a long absence got back to Jing Joe's and must admit, they still keeping up the good work in serving Great food and service sumplicity and kindness. Went there to eat some Western food, Bangers and mash with onion gravy...nothing fancy but good food and reminding me at my moms kitchen. I not quickly give a 5 star, not because i am picky, but because i am asking myself if i am the one being able to judge about that level. But now, i give John and his Spouse the 5 stars because they keep up the standard (level) up for years now, with pleasant service an great food, something not common in Asia.

I'm very fussy English eater, sorry I don't like Thai food, and my friends and I stopped by this place as my Thai friend recommended it. The service was fantastic, the food excellent (I had the mushroom soup, absolutely delicious!!) and the beers were cheap and cold. With a fantastic view of the Mekong River, I couldn't recommend it enough.

In an excellent location at one of the three main entry ways into Ta Sadet Market Nook Coffee captures those locals and travelers taking in one of Nong Khai's premier destinations.
As well they serve a decent cup of coffee. Some tasty pastries and pies to boot. Worth a stop just to watch people coming and going into the market. Prices are on par with other like styled coffee shops 35-55 baht for espresso, latte, cappuccino among other (hot or cold).

After a poor expensive meal at another farang style place in Nong Khai we tried this place. It was next to a Thai bar with singer that was too loud in the bar but ok say next door . The food was reasonably priced. It was during the week and there were not so many people there. The food was ok , no problems, there were plenty of sauces etc . It was open later than other eating places along the Riverside. Ok

For Thai and Western food, hot and cold drinks : Mai's Bar-Restaurant is happy to welcome you.Speak Thai, english and French !
Lovely staff and owner so happy to accommodate me. Had the most delicious Greek salad with chunky feta and a large pork chop platter with homemade mashed potatoes that hit the spot. Can't beat the convenience right across the street from the White Inn. Will be a favorite stop for me whenever I am in town. Will stop in for lunch tomorrow actually before leaving town.

Our cafe is located about 1.5-2 Km. Away from friendship bridge on the road to Thabo. With cozy atmosphere in a semi-wooden house.
I had the hot cappuccino made with real cream, along with their blueberry cake. Both were delicious! The establishment is fairly new and well-furnished with comfortable chairs, sofas and lovely wood floors and wood panelling. It's air conditioned but there is an outside veranda if you wish to sit outside. WiFi is also available. and there is ample vehicle parking at the front and rear which has a pleasant garden. There is also a range of local crafts available for sale.
