Been there over 30 years.
Tried the DQ for breakfast during a recent trip to Nocona. The bacon and eggs were cooked to my order, service was fairly fast, and the ladies at the counter were very friendly. This is obviously a meeting place for the local ranchers and that is also a recommendation. I'll stop here again the next time I'm in town.

A large group of HOG Rally riders came to Nocona for a tour of the Baseball Mitt factory....which was very worth-while and informative visit. Afterwards looked for a place to eat lunch. Not much open in town. Glad this one was. The salads were excellent, pizza excellent and the dessert pecan pizza the best. The building and décor are all unique. The staff was friendly and did a great job serving a large group of 8. Enjoyed visiting with the gal who invented the pecan pizza. Very worthwhile stop.

Arriving in Nocona, TX we were hungry and wanted something 1/2 healthy. We were told to try Tres Ninos as they had fajitas and other chicken dishes. We were not disappointed. The Service was excellent, the Food Tasty and the price was very fair. Looking for healthy Mexican food try the Mexican Stir-Fry. It is really good. Their salsa is very tasty as well.

I'm never sure about restaurants in small towns. The town I grew up in the restaurants didn't have to be because there wasn't a lot of choices. This place was the best I'd had in a long time, anywhere. Everyone's food was awesome, staff was friendly, margaritas were free with food purchases, and they had a little place with toys for the kids while they waited.

Out for a Harley ride to Lawton,OK and was looking for a new place to enjoy a down home breakfast.
Just as many others have mentioned it's simple ~ order & pay at the counter, pickup meals when your name is called and help yourself to coffee, water, etc. NOTE: no hot tea altho they so have hot water so bring your own tea bag.
Everything was real tasty and we will return again. The building is an old, old gas station that has many family pictures throughout the ages. Very reasonable breakfast with a whole lot of charm.

Stopped in while passing through town. Been to several different places in Nocona and this is by far the best in town. Everything was made fresh and to order. This is a small hole in the wall joint that needs no improvements. The staff was friendly and place was clean. This is a grab and go spot as there is not seating. Breakfast and lunch burritos and very cheap! I can not wait until I make another trip through town!

My husband and I were looking for a place to have breakfast after spending the night in Saint Jo. Options are limited however the owner of the Texas Kings Hotel recommended this place in Nocona. It took about 20 minutes from where we were in Saint Jo to get here, but it was well worth it and somewhat on our way home to Wichita Falls.
Everything was made from scratch, including the hashbrowns which were hand grated on site. Delicious and cheap! We were pleasantly surprised with our total, especially with the amount of food we ended up getting. Pancakes as big as hubcaps and good portions of everything else.
Only somewhat negative thing was the wait time for our order. Apparently we came at a once-in-a-blue-moon Sunday breakfast rush. Our waitress was wonderful and explained they usually are only that busy during the after church lunch crowd so I don't think they were prepared for the onslaught of people that thronged the diner at 10 that morning. Regardless, they handled it well and it worked out for us as we weren't in a rush to get back on the road home. We will definitely be back.
