Excellent experience, had the cutlets as usual it was very good but the sticky toffee pudding is to die for , but it sells out quickly.

The menu was awesome. Service was wonderful and everything was priced very reasonably. However. It was nothing spectacular. What I’d expect for the price. Everything was a little over cooked and nothing really stood out food wise.

the service crew were good but the cashier/owner/manager was very rude! she ran after us in the park after we left the establishment and knocked on our window shield ranting of not giving a tip to their waitress. insulting us and yelling us not to go back again. well after what she did nobody ever will get back to her resto again. and it's not our lost, there are lot of better and professional owner of restaurant in town..she has no right to treat us like that because a tip is just a voluntary way of giving and not compulsory.18% is the only choice you have to select in the machine for the tip, it's more than the GST you are paying. we really wanted to give the waitress a tip because she deserves it the way she served us but we left no choice but to skip the 18% tip and that's what she also told us so, to skip it. the only regret we have was we didn't bring cash with us to give what's due to her. but it's still we don't deserve that kind of treatment and nobody does.

My coworkers always come back from here with amazing smelling food so I decided to check this place out. I had one of the daily specials- fajita melt. Amazing. Soft sub bun toasted with fajita chicken, sautéed onions, mushrooms, corn and peppers. Mounds of melted cheese and a delicious sauce.
Came with fresh, hot fries. All for $13.95!!! I couldn't finish it but I sure tried.
The menu covers all areas of comfort foods. The ONLY thing I might like to see would be a salad, even a taco salad or salad of the day; something for those who might want to eat a little lighter.
Great customer service, clean, friendly atmosphere and great value!
I will be back.

We ate at this particular Royal Pizza on Oct. 21, 2016, based on the recommendation of our very friendly hotel's front desk lady. Immediately upon entering, the smell of wonderful! We knew right then and there that we were in for a treat. We ordered a medium-sized "Royal Special" with extra sauce, and it turned out to be one of the best pizzas we ever ate! Our very friendly server, Brittany, provided us with top-notch service (and an excellent recommendation that we stop at the Donut Mill on Gasoline Alley when passing through Red Deer - read my separate review for that excellent place!). Overall, don't hesitate to eat here whenever you're in the area ... you can't go wrong!

Choice. Ric's knows what you're craving is a moving target so we've got lots of options to hit your sweet spot. Tantalizing appetizers, organic greens, fresh seafood and Alberta's finest steak are a nice start. Add fresh house-made sauces, dressings and desserts and pair with award winning wines and creative cocktails for casual dining experience that feels just the right amount of special.
We had dinner and breakfast here staying at the Four Points Sheraton after flying into the airport.
On both occasions the restaurant was pretty quiet, with only one server on. Service was reasonable, but the food wasn't overly great. The steak I had at dinner was a bit underdone, and was really heavily spiced. Breakfast was a bit better.
The main selling point at least for us is the location in the hotel in which we were staying. It's not really bad enough that you'd want to go eat somewhere else at all costs, equally, we're not going to be going out of our way to come eat here if we're passing through again unless we're actually in the hotel.

I went to Blackjacks Roadhouse with a group of 8 co-workers the other day. 3 of us orders the Chowmein special.
The chowmein special consisted of 3 shrimp, some bits of chicken, some mystery meat, some reheated frozen vegetables slathered in VH sauce covering a bed of Mr. Noodles. All this for something like $14.00...
What a deal!
The service was terrible, the Mr. Noodles Chowmein was gross, there was nothing redeeming about this meal. Go someplace else, next time we will.

The Belgian Beer Cafe is a European Style Gastro-Pub with Belgian inspired cuisine and classic North American comfort food. We carry over 50 different types of premium import Belgian beers, hand crafted cocktails, and an exceptional wine list from around the world. We are genuinely passionate about great service, great food, and great drink enjoyed in a truly unique environment.
The range of eating and drinking choices at EIA keeps getting better and better with new merchants opening. One of the long standing spots is Belgian Beer Café near gate 64. I have eaten here several times and enjoyed their impressive selection of beer and distinctive menu. Who else has the German / Dutch fav stumpot (sausage, mashed potato and thick gravey) along with chicken and waffle ( 2 options). This recent visit also featured an exceptional server who knew the menu well, the beer selection and provided very strong customer service. Obviously a strong customer focused culture. Will return and continue to recommend.
