The staff here is super kind and welcoming. Miss Taguchu is wonderful and so helpful. She and the other staff members made me want to recommend that everyone stays at this hotel. The facilities are nice and clean and itms walking distance from Annipuri. Hope to come back soon! Thanks for everything!

Niseko Backcountry Lodge is a large Japanese ski lodge, with 2 stories of facilities, including: restaurant, ski room, drying room, TV's and DVD, comfy communal areas, wireless internet throughout, and Japanese bar. We are located on the slopes of Moiwa, Niseko, with access to endless powder right outside our door. There is plenty of space to relax, hang out and unwind at the end of a hard day on the mountain, and a comfortable bed to rest your head.
our experience at niseko backcountry Lodge was absolutely fantastic the location was perfect, moiwa is the most uncrowded niseko ski resort with excellent backcountry and groomers the breakfast was great but it was the staff that made it, they were friendly and super helpful if I was being picky I would say they could turn down the thermostats a bit as it was too warm for us but this is pretty minor I wouldn't stay anywhere else in niseko

We love Cotton Farm and hope to return one day. Not only was the host lovely & helpful, but you are almost on the slopes. No need for buses here, straight onto the lifts and away you go. If the lifts are open to the top, you can also access the other resorts quite easily. To top everything off, we loved the traditional Japanese bathrooms, the views from the bedroom and that we were well away from the 'party scene' In short if your there to ski/board and relax, perfect! If your there to party, stay in Hirafu :)

We have just spent 3 nights at this fantastic friendly guesthouse. We arrived early (1030 am) after getting the bus from Sapporo - we were welcomed with a smile and an apology that our room wasn’t ready. We weren’t really expecting it to be until later in the day - however just 20 minutes later we were shown to our “Deer” room. A lovely comfy clean twin room. While waiting for our room to be prepared we filled in a form specifying what ski equipment we needed. In less than 30 mins there was a knock on the door - our ski’s and boots had arrived!! We bought a lift pass from the guesthouse too and were on the slopes (less than five minutes walk away) before 1200! We ate at the guesthouse on the first and last evening - food was fantastic, fresh local produce served with a smile. The guesthouse serves beer (draft and bottles) and has a decent wine list too. Each evening after dinner we were taken to a local onsen - the two we went to were amazing. The lounge/dining area is a lovely spot to chill out and chat to fellow guests. Massa and his team looked after us so well, nothing was a chore for them and it was fun spending time with his friends from Bangkok.

Dave and his wife make Hotel Resort Inn such a lovely place. We've stayed at many hotels around the world but this one is the most special one for us. Here are the reasons why you should choose Hotel Resort Inn: 1) Clean and comfortable room: the rooms are kept spotless clean. 2) Private onsen: you can book the private onsen on the 2nd floor in advance. It is such a treat after a day of skiing. 3) Access to ski resorts: Dave drive you to different ski resorts every morning at 9am. Dave will drop you at the most convenient places so that you can buy lift pass or get on the gondola quickly. Unless you stayed at a ski-in and ski-out hotel in Niseko, you will need to walk or take shuttle bus to the lifts anyway. We even managed to travel to Rusutsu for two days during our stay. The hotel is 3 minutes from a bus stop where you can take ~8:30 bus to Rusutsu (only 30 minutes ride). You can choose to take 15:15 bus or 17:15 bus to return and Dave can pick you up from the bus stop. 4) Ski rental: Dave will arrange ski rental at a nearby rental shop and the price is quite reasonable. 5) Meals: absolutely delicious buffet breakfast. If you want to eat dinner in Niseko Village, Dave will drive you to nearby restaurants. If you want to relax, you can order simple meals from Dave's wife and relax in the common area in the hotel. 6) Hospitality: this is like a home away from home. Dave and his wife worked so hard to make sure all guests have the best ski holiday. We cannot wait to come back for the next ski holiday.

This place is a hidden gem. I was brought by a friend who has been going for a few years-both to ski and golf in the summer. The hotel itself is clean and well run. What sets it apart is the outstanding service. Rhys and his wife are truly hospitable and do anything they can to make your stay better. The breakfast is unrivalled...home made bread, barista level coffees and ridiculous proportions. Worth the trip for that alone. The barbecue dinner on the deck is highly recommended if you do go i9n summer. I will be going back soon!

Our family of four (two adults, one 15 and one 8 year old) had a wonderful week at Nebula Lodge. The atmosphere is full of style and ambience...the owner is a architect/designer so the furniture and art is amazing. Great chill tunes on the iPod. Loads of good architect and design books to read. the staff are so friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts are amazing (very third day is a traditional Japanese cooked breakfast, while the in between days are more western style). Facilities and rooms are excellent, and overall value for money is high. The booking system requires patience as often the team don't answer the phone or reply to emails (a bit frustrating!), but it is definitely worth persisting as the place is fabulous!
