Ninove (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈninoːvə]) is a city and municipality located in the Flemish province of East Flanders in Belgium. It is situated on the river Dender, and is part of the Denderstreek. The municipality comprises the city of Ninove proper and since the 1976 merger of the towns of Appelterre-Eichem, Aspelare, Denderwindeke, Lieferinge, Meerbeke, Nederhasselt, Neigem, Okegem, Outer, Pollare and Voorde. On January 1, 2012, Ninove had a total population of 37,289. The total area is 72.57 km² which gives a population density of 514 inhabitants per km².

Have been several times... Never a disappointment. Took my parents there for my mother's birthday in May and (as usual) the selection was astonishing. None of this "Excellent... For the price"... This really does rate as one of the best meals I've had. The selection is small but it's all fresh and seasonal... The set menus are fab and there's always flexibility (I'm allergic to seafood so there has to be...).
It's family run, the atmosphere is great; relaxed and sumptuous... If you want to spoil someone, this us the place!

The classic country setting of this restaurants fits perfectly with the kitchen they bring.
Using top ingredients (and some vegetables grown in own garden) they serve a creative classic french kitchen. Every dish is a great combinations of natural flavours.
As they always use seasonal ingredients, the menu changes every month.
Service is smooth.
Visited the restaurant several times, and I was never disappointed and always enjoyed a great meal...A classic.

A lot of choice and very good service. Not too expensive and the meals were very good. It's better to reserve a table, mostly during the weekends.

Been there twice over the past few years. Restaurant interior is allright and quite pleasant. Menu offers enough choices with a number of Sicilian specialties without offering too many dishes. I would rate the taste/quality as OK, but nothing to be over enthusiastic about as I found the dishes I tried rather bland.
Staff is friendly and helpful and I did enjoy the recommended Red Sicilian wine, which was excellent.
One thing that I absolutely do not understand, is that anno 2015, this restaurant does not accept credit nor debit cards. Of course, they don't tell you this when you enter the restaurant or when you order, so you better have cash or you'll find yourself running to an ATM to withdraw money before you leave. I find this quite unacceptable and that's why I will probably not be returning to this restaurant, as I typically do not carry a lot of cash with me.
Expect to pay around 25-30 EUR per person for an entree and a glass of house wine.

No one would expect a restaurant in that area of Ninove city. The "chef" is master in his cuisine. Al food is fresh prepared with good quality and seasonal ingredients. The menu is "brasserie" and sometimes an exception with worldkitchen. Steak bearnaise with french fries, fish soup, fresh fish, and so on. Cosy interior. The lady of the house herself is serving the guests. From the first visit one almost feels at home. Ninove people are charming people who like talking and have you immediately involved in the small talk.

Nice restaurant with good atmosphere and typical chinese decorations :).
Friendly waiters / waitresses.
Already a rice table for about 19 euro per person making it a steal! Especially with what you get for it. (you should be really really hungry)
Also fair prices for the drinks.
All in all, a very good place to go to.

Het terras van deze zaak is gelegen aan de drukke Albertlaan wat niet bevorderlijk is voor een aangenaam vertoeven maar dat deert het aanwezige cliënteel geenszins . Het is er op zonnige zondagnamiddagen stervens druk en de diverse ijscoupes worden dan ook gretig besteld. Wij opteerden voor wafels met slagroom. Kwaliteit is goed maar kan beter. Bediening is vriendelijk maar het kan allemaal wel iets sneller want een gemiddelde wachttijd van 15 minuten vooraleer ze de bestelling komen opnemen is wel wat lang !.

Nice restaurant located in the city center. Make Reservations timely. Because of the typical "ninove" mood, and the warm welcome given by the owners, this restaurant is always full of local people. Add to this the freshly prepared food and all conditions are met to have a nice moment. To the Malt owners : very well done !
