妙高高原スカイケーブル頂上駅から少し下った所にある展望レストランで、このテラスからの眺望は抜群です。メニューはお手頃価格でホテル特製の軽食を食べることができます。一番人気はボリューム感のある妙高山カレーのようです。小腹には赤倉観光ホテル特製 野菜ブレッドとスープのセットをお勧めします。レストラン周辺を４０分ぐらいで巡る無料散策ガイドを午前、午後、レストランで申し込めば親切に案内してもらえます。ブナ林を案内してもらい冬山でのブナの生態を教えてもらいました。テラス席はペット同席できますよ。

Jacks Bar is a great blend of Local and international hosts, so getting to know some Japanese phrases and local secret spots whilst having a few drinks there is no better place than Jacks Bar

夏に利用。あまりレストランがないこのあたりですので、貴重です。確か向かいにはコンビ二「モンマート」があったような・・・。店内ではこの日何故か井上陽水の音楽がひたすら流れていました。夏のハーモニーなどを聞くとああ、日本の夏だなと思いました。海老フライだったか定食をオーダー。まあ普通です。

First time, I couldn’t believe the quality and price of food (happy hour is amazing too). We had karage, shepherd pie, taco bowl, and salad. Next two visits didn’t disappoint either, each time we went with different people and everyone’s reactions were the same. Staff and lovely, helpful and courteous. Our first visit, we were having so much fun catching up, then we realised we were last people left and the staff never pressured us to leave even though it was past closing time. Amazing and will return.
