Nice quiet garden setting. If you need a break from the hustle and bustle of Niamey, this is a nice spot. The food isnât bad but if you are from Europe and North America, the taste is âalmostâ like home. The sauces are a little off from what Iâm sure to. Had salt and pepper calamari as a starter, with the shrimp and cashews. I wouldnât say the portions are big but enough. The price is a little on the higher side, as itâs close to some hotels it was filled with tourists. Overall, it was a good break and a little bit of comfort type food.
a best restaurant in Niamey la rose is a cheap restaurant , a modern cuisine for dinner in a nice and friendly atmosphere
La Rose has a really nice atmosphere in the evening (I have not eaten here for lunch) and friendly, competent servers. The menu is similar to most restaurants in Niamey (i.e. the usual French fare - steaks, captaine, etc) but somehow it tastes a lot better here than in most restaurants. I come here regularly - really like the place.

This nice Lebanese bakery and restaurant is more of a fast food place than anything else. I have only had take away so cannot review the sit-in.Amandine serves good bread, nice desserts, and several options of pizza, meat dishes, and sandwiches. For me the Taouk sandwich (shish grilled chicken breast kebabs) is the favorite as it reminds me of Middle Eastern fast food I had as a kid.People are nice and the service is not too slow.

Amazing view of the Niger River -- great place to spend a relaxing evening. But I wouldn't deviate from the beef skewers with fries. I get it every time I eat there. Inside, the breakfast buffet is ok, but overpriced. More variety at buffet lunch, but if I were visiting Niamey, I'd definitely go to hang out by the pool and have dinner under the stars.

Mango is an unpretentious and simple restaurant. There's no 'à la carte' menu but dishes change daily and are scribbled on the chalkboard as they are made of fresh ingredients which vary according to market availability. My favourites are the capitaine grillé (nile perch) and couscous royal. It can be packed at lunch times; evenings, especially mid-week, are usually quieter. Once a week the place transforms into a dance club â lots of fun!

In a scene photos highlighting the landscapes and people of Niger, the restaurant offers french gourmet meals and specialties from the southwest. The restaurant has a private room for 20 people for family meals or business.
The interior is great with many photos on the wall. Waiters were very professional and patient. I felt I was in an authentic french restaurant. The soup on the photo was great except foie gras. This restaurant would be one of my choices if I have a chance to visit NIamey again.

Together with two colleagues I joined the Dutch Evening in Niamey, which is organised every third Wednesday every month. In total there was 20 of us. The gardens of this restaurant are big, nicely decorated and the table with 20 people was hardly noticeable! We all had a main menu only and I thoroughly enjoyed the Capitaine a la Tranche. Good stuff with fries and mayonaise. It was a great evening. The staff is extremely efficient, they serve in a very professionable way, very attentive and organised. At the end of the dinner there was a huge rainstorm and winds, we had to look for shelter and finished the dinner with coffee and other drinks. A great night for about CFA 9.000 including 2-3 drinks
