Nice quiet garden setting. If you need a break from the hustle and bustle of Niamey, this is a nice spot. The food isnât bad but if you are from Europe and North America, the taste is âalmostâ like home. The sauces are a little off from what Iâm sure to. Had salt and pepper calamari as a starter, with the shrimp and cashews. I wouldnât say the portions are big but enough. The price is a little on the higher side, as itâs close to some hotels it was filled with tourists. Overall, it was a good break and a little bit of comfort type food.
We are the best traditional restaurant with the best quality and delicious food in Niamey. We offer great tastes to our customers in local, Mediterranean and world cuisines.
Low quality. Nothing was good. The staff is friendly, but that does not make up for the fast food quality.
Atmosphere a bit lacking (no music, a deserted-feeling garden) but very good food. Friendly, attentive service, too.
Maquis 2000 is characterized elsewhere on this site as a tapas bar. While the bar serves appetizers, the (limited) menu barely qualifies as 'tapas'. Maquis 2000 is better known as a popular nightclub as food service is not its primary objective.

This new restaurant opened about 1-2 months ago. It is a coffee shop/vegeratian/brunch/art gallery place that serves really good food. The owners are two French couples. Unfortunately they do not have a website.
The Café is quite different from anything else you can find in Niamey. The furnishing is tasteful while simple, and it serves vegetarian food. The desserts are amazing and so is the coffee.

Amazing view of the Niger River -- great place to spend a relaxing evening. But I wouldn't deviate from the beef skewers with fries. I get it every time I eat there. Inside, the breakfast buffet is ok, but overpriced. More variety at buffet lunch, but if I were visiting Niamey, I'd definitely go to hang out by the pool and have dinner under the stars.

Mango is an unpretentious and simple restaurant. There's no 'à la carte' menu but dishes change daily and are scribbled on the chalkboard as they are made of fresh ingredients which vary according to market availability. My favourites are the capitaine grillé (nile perch) and couscous royal. It can be packed at lunch times; evenings, especially mid-week, are usually quieter. Once a week the place transforms into a dance club â lots of fun!
