Simple decoration: you feel like you are in a modern cafeteria...! The food was tasty however the presentation needs some improvement. The pork was really tender and tasty but little on the sweet side due to the sauce. I liked the desert cheese cake with Kadayif... the service was excellent and very polite waiters. The prices were average: plates around 10 eur. I recommend the place. To visit.

We went as a group of four for lunch. We ordered various dishes like kebab, souvlakia, shieftalia etc. Food was good, maybe not exceptional, but it was cheap and that made it value for money. A good choice overall.

Located in the shopping district of Nicosia, Kathodon is a traditional Greek taverna and offers excellent authentic Cypriot cuisine and great service. We tried several dishes (mezedes) and enjoyed every dish, including stuffed grape leaves, grilled chicken and pork kebabs, Kleftiko,Haloumi, homus, tzatziki, grilled sausage, soutzoukakia and salads. The atmosphere was friendly and the Owner/mamanger went out of his way to show his hospitality. kathodon will be the first restaurant to visit, on our next trip to Nicocia!

We were in Nicosia for 3 days and unexpectetly we found this great place. Its not just a bar or restaurant its something very unique.We had many coctails but try their velvet whisper and zombi. For food we had ceviche, shrimps gyoza and fresh tuna, amazing dishes!Dont miss their beautifull country yard if you want to relax but avoid it if its really hot.I wish i could post some photos.

Had dinner with friends and basically ordered a variety of dishes to share - menu tasting!Signature dishes or not , i think it was a sensational menu : Salads delicately aromatic, subtle taste for all pasta dishes we âve tried.Pizza was top and so was the calzone desert ! Young, trendy, lofty-style interior. Looking around at other diners, everybody happy and smiling ; service fast , attentive and definitely impressed by the warm welcome for a first time visit.

If you want to taste Greek food this place is ideal. The quality of most of the dishes that we ordered ranged from very good to excellent and the prices were, on the whole, reasonable. However, the ventilation of the place needs to be looked at, as one's clothes are left with a not so pleasant smell of food.

Great food, very accommodating, very busy . Visited twice during 7 night stay in Nocosia . Really fun time,all the staff werel incredibley friendly, amazing free profiteroles at the end of both meals. Great pizzas and lovely salad, bottle of local wine very tasty and well priced cannot fault this venue.

One of my favorite burger places in Nicosia. Is a must go if you like burgers. The selection is massive and the cooking and taste are exceptional. In additional to that they have a super massive beer list. There is an endless beer catalogue with every beer you can imagine. They host a burger week every year as well with some limited edition burger dishes.Price are ok for what you get. I think is better to make a reservation if you are planning to go on a busy night (football night for example).I am a frequent visitor at this place and i had no bad experiences or bad service so far. Slightly out of the centre of Nicosia, near the old English cemetery, this is a local gem that combines wine bar with tapas. A superb range of wines is available & the nibbles complement the drink well. This is a very popular haunt with limited space, so booking or going early is recommended. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxing and the music great. Break away from the usual touristy routine and enjoy a local experience.

Decor is inviting and cozy, service is friendly. When looking at the dishes being served around me, each dish had a unique touch.I opted for the vegetarian risotto. Dish was very colorful and the taste was nice.At 12 euros which is the same price of the lamb and more then the pork chop, i thought it was expensive.
