It's lower level location and small sign make the very good eatery easy to miss, but be persistent and you will be happy. Pleasantly decorated and music in the background will put you at ease and eager to eat. Large menu and specials offered. Spaghetti and meatballs sounded good and with a nice salad and hot garlic bread made for a filling meal. Service is passable.

I was pleasantly surprised when I asked the server if they had any Vegan Options? She said hold on, and then arrived with a different menu than originally given, with several wonderful choices. Food quality was very good, and the coffee service is self serve, making it nice to get your own refill when needed. Definitely a nice option to visit if in the area.

Buffalo Brew is a new coffee shop that opened on the square in Newport.
The historic old brick building has been remolded inside to a welcoming and relaxing coffee shop atmosphere with ample places to sit and enjoy a cup of brew. We were warmly welcomed upon entering and told the seasonal flavors which were available. The menu displayed on the wall behind the counter listed the “standard” selections for a coffee shop this size such as lattes, cappuccino, mocha, cortado, etc. A display case of baked goods is also available.
On our first visit we sampled their mochas, which were made perfectly! Very flavorful with the right balance of coffee, chocolate, and steamed milk! BB uses Little Amps roasted coffee, which produces an exceptional cup of coffee in the right hands, which the owners/workers here possess. You know it’s a quality local coffee shop when the baristas have the necessary training to consistently create delicious coffees.
Overall, the coffee was very good, service was friendly, and the environment relaxing. One suggestion I would make is to move the baked good display case to another location. This will open up to counter to provide a direct point of interaction with the employees and a designated place to order drinks. The counter seating was nice, but with the display case and “register” on the same counter makes it feel crowded.
I highly recommend stopping by Buffalo Brew in downtown Newport if you are looking for great coffees while traveling between HBG and State College. The short trip off 322 will be worth it.

We stopped here when our first choice was closed and we didn't know where to eat. The subs were very good, served on ciabatta bread instead of hoagie roll. You order at the counter, and someone brings you your meal when it's ready. Good choice we found by accident.

We had a wonderful experience on a very pleasant September evening here after taking a relaxing walk along the nearby Juanita River with our dog Colby. They sell nice frozen dog treats here too! There are plenty of tablse inside, but we sat outside with our pup. I had the Maple Walnut, and the Peach -two scoops in a dish, while my wife enjoyed the Chocolate Malt. They have many, wonderful, creative flavors - plus many of them are available in NO SUGAR ADDED.
They are located right at their dairy farm on Route 17, just west of the little town of Millerstown- which sits right beside US Route 322. This spot is definitely worth visiting.

Nicest established restaurant in Millerstown. Reliably good every visit. Friendly, warm, authentic staff - part of the community and like family.

A very small coffee shop located on the square in Millerstown. The hours may make difficult to hit this great location but if you have the chance swing in and check it out. Everything is prepared right and the counter. The owner/server/cook chats you up and makes you feel quite welcome while working on your order. Prices are pretty cheap too! We usually go for breakfast but have been for lunch as well. The sandwiches are just as good as the breakfast.

Thank you Trip Advisor. We stopped here for lunch on our way to Maryland shore. The pulled pork sandwich was so tender. Husband had the Bully and it was very good. Small place that also has outside seating. It's right next to route 15 so easy on/off if traveling. The seasoned fries were also good.

We passed Duncanon on the way home from a family affair and my elderly mother wanted to pass by this place to get some teaberry ice cream, which is her absolute favorite. They have just about any flavor imaginable and I could tell by the line that it was a popular place. The only little gripe I would have is that the small ice cream was enormous and cost over $4 which is the same price I would pay for 4 quarts of Turkey Hill ice cream at the grocery store = quite expensive. But, if you are going for the flavor experience it doesn't really matter does it?

This place is right off the exit from 322. Our waitress was very friendly and there were lots of regulars there. Service was quick. We ordered stuffed pepper soup, An omelette and a BLT. Everything was good and reasonably priced. Cash only. We would return.
