This place is on the pricey side. The food was great. What I had felt more American than Mexican but was good. I had a steak but felt there could have been some Mexican seasoning on it. It was very tender and tasty though

We have eaten here many times - this time, however, food was under seasoned, texture of chicken made you wonder if it had been frozen, every the black beans were lacking in flavor. Prior visits were all much better but this time was disappointing.

I joined a group of 10 coworkers for dinner. We enjoyed nachos, guacamole and salsa as an appetizer. Each time that the chips were low, there were more on the way. I enjoyed the chicken fajitas, which were delicious. Everyone enjoyed their food. We will be back again!

Mom and pop Mexican restaurant, not a lot of seating so go early.. I had the soup,it is the second most popular menu item after the combo meal. The soup was incredible, try it you will love it! It is full of chicken, vegetables and includes 2 tortillas..Let know if this helps. Kids seemed to love the quesadillas, we loved the price.

We had a great casual dinner here, and although the wait to be seated in the restaurant was over an hour, we seated ourselves right away in the large bar area (with teenagers) The sevice was prompt, we started with guac (that could have used more seasoning and delicious roasted corn (the best dish of the night!) Thee fish tacos were very good and the portions were large. The music in the bar was good but quite loud, not allowing for conversation.

We are local little spots that have became one of Orange County's favorites for elevated comfort food. We are just-off-the-beaten-path restaurants that are low key yet deliver a BIG gastronomical punch with our dishes that combine American comfort food wi
One food adventurer and one less so wandered into this place just off of Newport Blvd on 18th street. They had something for both of us at breakfast, I had the "Fried Egg" and expected the items to come deconstructed on the plate...nope they were stacked but it was good. My friend had regular food and the potatoes looked sort of bland being so lightly cooked. I would go again and try some other items on the menu. Keep up the good cooking and pleasant service. Think about adding some sound proofing on the ceiling please.

The ambience & staff were wonderful. Their homemade salsa & guacamole were delicious. The tostada was fabulous. Their drinks were tasty too. We were definitely full when we left. Steve Concialdi

The service is amazing, my second time here, I ordered the Lamb again because I couldn't resist and it was exactly the same as I remembered it. The only downside I can think of is that the waiting staff were crowding our table and took my plate early. They seemed like they were in a rush so I agreed to have the plate removed so I could speak to my girlfriend in peace. Other than that everything was amazing.

One of the better local Mexican food opportunities. Good flavor, casual take-out or eat in, consistent.
