GoldBurgers is one of those places that if you're lucky enough to discover it, you'll tell everyone you know about it, and you'll come back as often as you can. This restaurant is a small hole in the wall establishment. The food - whatever you select - is amazingly delicious. There is only a small seating area so the restaurant does a lot of take out business. Try it...you'll love it!

The restaurant is nice, service was just OK. The young boy who waited on us didn't speak very good English. We asked for our food without raw onions, which apparently is a staple of this restaurant. Everything came with raw onions.
The portions were huge; the quality was good, but not great.

Modern American cuisine..All fish served wild caught, never frozen.. All beef products grass fed . ( Piedmontese beef line from Nebraska.. All vegetable hand sourced from Exec chef Lucas Kyriakos..
My husband and I had dinner here on a Friday night and it was wonderful! From the atmosphere to the service and food, everything was fantastic. We especially enjoyed the chili nachos appetizer, which was enough for several to share. The salmon was expertly prepared with a nice brown crust and perfectly cooked interior. We even splurged on dessert and the tiramisu was absolutely worth it! We will definitely be returning soon!!

I ordered a cake (chocolate with a buttercream frosting) for 23 people for my mother's 80th birthday and it was excellent. Just the right amount of sweetness, and beautiful! Everyone thought the same. I have ordered cakes from several places in the area. This was by far the best. I will order again.

We offer generous portions of great food at reasonable prices and Nobody does pizza better than Joey Garlic's. We offer New Haven-style brick oven pizza, which has a crust similar to rustic peasant bread in texture and is cooked to a darker color which allows the toppings to blend together. The longer cooking time also allows the different ingredients to carmelize, bringing out their natural bold sweet or savory flavors. We top most of our pies with fresh-snipped fragrant basil and the finest extra virgin olive oil. If you prefer a less-baked pizza, just ask. Say "light-baked." The rest of our extensive menu features Salads, Starters, Pastas, Old School Grinders, old fashioned Hamburgers, giant Milkshakes, ice cream and even a kid's menu that is simple and appetizing for young appetites. Quantity and quality that will absolutely amaze you.
We have been driving by for a long time so today we decided to give it a try, and we were not disappointed. We ordered two different gluten free pizzas and they were both delicious. I would say the best gluten free pizzas we have ever had in a restaurant. The place was packed, which shows that everyone had a good time. Will definitely go again.

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday because I love hibachi! This restaurant is in a building built into a hill, so there is a small parking area up top (mostly for the flower shop next door) but the main parking is down the hill. We didn't know, so we entered through the "back" door. The main entrance is down the hill.
As we entered through the "back" door we saw the kitchen and a general use space, which was not very decorated. But as we entered the bar and seating area, it was gorgeous! Definitely a great date place.
As we got hibachi, we were in a room conjoined to the beautiful bar space. There are 2 full tables and 2 half tables. This area is in need of an update or fresh coat of paint, but overall clean. There was only one hibachi chef that night, so we had a little wait, but were given free edamame appetizers. Very good service, always refilling our water, etc.
Our chef came to our table and was in a great mood despite obviously working very hard. The food was delicious and I think we got the most food I have ever seen for the same price most hibachi restaurants charge. In fact, I think the chef may have been the owner. It was a very fun and delicious hibachi experience.
I will definitely be going back!

Bricco's just never disappoints. I have been there probably 50 times over the years. The food is always excellent (seriously have never had a bad meal) and the atmosphere is lively. Wait staff is friendly and knowledgable about the menu. Reservations are only available for groups of 6 or more. My favorite dishes here are the Kale salad and the salmon with a mustard maple glaze. Excellent.

Having lived in the south end of Hartford's Little Italy for several years, I have sampled every Franklin Avenue's bakery fare. NONE can compare to the cakes, cannolis, bread, pizza, and pies from Giovanni's in Newington, CT. The goods taste homemade and are always fresh. We head for Giovanni's for all of our special occasion treats. LOVE the cappuccino cake! Once you try Giovanni's, you will have a new favorite bakery!

My husband and I have come to love Rooster Co. There are so many delicious options and great ways to share lots of things because the sides are reasonably priced. There are tons of local options and great, fresh in season fruits and vegetables on the menu. The peaches with goat cheese, grilled zucchini with herbs, truffle Mac n cheese, arugula salad - DELICIOUS!!! I love trying the new things as the menu frequently changes to cater to what's in season. That makes us feel great to be supporting our local restaurants, farmers and artisans as well as eat so healthfully. The rotisserie chicken is really tender and flavorful on its own. The sauces for the chicken are the one thing I would say have a lot of room for growth! They are kind of boring and not that good! We end up eating the chicken plain, which is delicious, but some kind of other choices are warranted! How about an herb rub right on the chicken? Redo the sauces, please!!! Great place to come on a date, go with friends or family. Not as great with kids because it's dark and a little formal if you're not in the bar, so we do take out. The dining room and bar are a little run down, could use some good renovations someday down the line. Go here and enjoy!

Looking for a space that was both reasonable and healthy and delicious. All found here. Elena, our waitress was exceptional.
