Went for a little celebration with a friend. Atmosphere was great! Waitstaff was friendly! Good was great! Steak tips came out over cooked. No problems sending them back for new ones! We also had the feta, pepper and spinach (I think) stuffed chicken and it was spot on!

Stayed at the mountain edge resort which is an excellent hotel. What a difference this place is. They did not have a bar menu and the waitress knew nothing, she didn't even explained the daily specials. At 7:00pm we were the only people in the place. The food was good but the service was terrible. I will definitely stay at the hotel again but I would never dine here again.

Happy hour specials are exceptional. Renovated restaurant with a good menu --many original items - I'll have to go back soon to try them all! Orange chicken was worth returning for! Good beer selection. Our server Lindsy was excellent!

We stopped for ice cream after dinner one night while staying in the area. The serving size is huge, for the first time in my 52 years I had to throw away ice cream. We found it very creamy and tasty.

Celebrate the bounty of New Hampshire at our highly acclaimed New London restaurant - Oak & Grain. Inspired by flavors from around the globe, our menus highlight the best seasonal ingredients of the region, including local farms and our herb garden. We are authentic farm to tale, New England cuisine supporting local farms and community sourced fisheries. Enjoy stunning views of Pleasant Lake and Mt. Kearsarge from our elegant dining room or casual small plate dining on the patio during the warmer months. Our custom menus, designed nightly, allow us to easily tailor to any dietary needs. We also offer 3-course Brunch on Sundays that mirror our signature dinner service. Our dining rooms can also offer privacy for small and large groups and we specialize in event planning and business meetings.
We were invited to try a new restaurant in NH, well, new to us. And we were so pleasantly rewarded. It's more of a dining experience than "just a dinner" since it's a set menu of a 5-Course Meal. We arrived in time for the before dinner drinks/mingling hour and had lively conversation with other diners from around the country and around the world (one notable couple was from The Netherlands - loved talking with them!). Chef Bryan Leary then held court and explained in great detail the night's menu and how each local farm to table item would be prepared. Not only did he make each sound amazing, each WAS! Everyone at our table raved about the food and left knowing we'd be back. Simply wonderful evening. So glad the Chef went around to the tables, so that we could personally thank him - you could FEEL that he loves what he does and it was apparent in every bite. Fantastic Fall Dinner!!

Stayed here with a group of friends while skiing at Mt Sunapee. The inn is a really cozy place, nice communal living room with wood fire. The owner cooked dinner for us for an extra $25 (and BYOB) and it was really nice! We were allowed to stay as late as we liked drinking in the living room (as long as we remembered to turn everything off before heading to bed!). The breakfast was good too. The owner was really friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

These people nailed it. There are terrific specials everyday which show some culinary skill and some creativity. The staff is friendly and considerate. The chefs (Pete and re-Pete) will come out to the tables and thank you for visiting. The food is excellent. The salad bar is one of my favorites. Fresh food prepared with care. The wood stove cranks in the winter. The boat runs dinner cruises in the summer. If you have the opportunity, eat here. The ambiance is friendly and warm. The prices are not reasonable, especially for the quality of food delivered consistently. Two thumbs way up for the Appleseed.

I came here with family here before a wedding. It's a small town diner. Great food, great service. Portions are huge, you definitely won't leave the place hungry. Everyone in our group was very pleased and satisfied.
I highly recommend the Eggs Benedict with Corned Beef Hash. Excellent.

We visited two different Salt Hill Pubs. The first one, right across from Mountain Edge Resort, there was a guy playing the guitar and singing country western music who was excellent. First time we shared a bowl of chili and I got the fish and...MoreBob - Thanks for stopping in. We appreciate you took the time to review us and are glad you enjoyed your visits.

Tucker's is an extremely well run breakfast & lunch place . It is family owned & operated w/ excellent service . It's a favorite for locals/ tourists & participants in the summer stock Theater crowd. The menu is small , but everything on it is delicious! Outside seating in good weather is the place be!
