Every single time I've visited Tahquamenon Falls I have stopped here to eat. The restaurant itself is typical UP decor-but it's done perfectly. The beer is ok, but the whitefish is the best I've ever had. I've brought people here after raving about it for months and they agree with me. It's a must-do while visiting the falls

Family owned ice cream shop in rural Newberry, Mi since 1998. Wide range of food from ice cream to paninis to nachos. Open April-September
My mother & I decided to have a little snack and I was thrilled to see that they still make malts. So many places only make shakes now but I love the malt flavor. I had a chocolate malt and it was great- nice & thick with the malt flavor.

For nearly two decades, this rustic little shop has been producing superior breads. Located off the beaten path, about 15 miles north of Newberry, Michigan, it's well worth the journey. They really know how to make bread. We made the trip, bought two loaves and brought them home. They make great toast and sandwiches and are excellent with just a pat of butter. Each loaf is large, well-packaged and tasty. Happy trails.

Food was great, and fairly priced. Dining area was freezing, property did not have any heat on even though it was just around freezing outside. I'm sure it's just because of the abrupt weather change, but it made for an uncomfortable dining experience. Food however...MoreDoug we will turn up the heat for ya next time! thanks for the shout out.

We have been here several times in the past.We got the pizza because how can you go wrong? The pizza is thin crust but it looked like someone threw the items on without any placement.Too mush crust all around shows a cheap pizza.I dont really enjoy 2" of crust.probably will skip stopping next time and hit deer park.

Seder's does wood-fired thin crust pizzas one at w time so you might have to wait a bit. And it's worth it. No gimmicky 'flavored' or greasy doughy crusts--just chewy/crispy browned crust with an excellent sauce and honest toppings. Yummy.

Family style restaurant featuring breakfast anytime, wraps and specialty sandwiches, smaller portions for Seniors, pasties, lower level Pub Sports Bar, busses welcome, daily specials, pizza, Mexican, variety of desserts and so much more!
Boy if I could give 0 stars this would be the review to do so. After traveling well over 400 miles on my vacation I certainly didn't expect this much disappoint. Of all my past reviews I believe I found the mother of them all worst restaurants my pallette has tried to endure and my patience. Upon walking in it says seat yourself. Ok that was easy. Next comes asking about the beer selection to our waitress.I asked what do you have? The waitress replies " we don't have a beer menu but if you name one I can check if we have it" Ummm ok.. what kinda of dark beers do you have I asked. Waitress replies with 2 dark beers I've never heard of and she also adds we have Sam adams I think is considered a dark.. smh. What type of ipa beer I ask. She replies 51k because it has ipa on the end of it. Oy..
So I ordered the grilled chicken club type combo thing (forgot the menu name) no tomatoes with ranch and fries. My friend ordered spaghetti with a salad. The waitress said to my friend it would be faster for my friend to goto the salad bar and make herself a salad rather then the waitress making it. My friend said the salad bar is more like your grandmother's pantry and the selection was subpar.
Sitting on my thumbs flipping through some trivia cards stashed in some sugar holder dispenser time drags by. 20 minutes goes by after ordering food. Not even 1 update from my waitress. She didn't even acknowledge us as if we were invisible. 30 minutes goes by, my once cold beer is now room temperature warm and I'm at the point of just walking out and paying just for the beer and pop my friend ordered. 47 minutes goes by and the clouds parted and finally we were served. I mean seriously a grilled chicken and spaghetti isn't hard to make. I seriously could've have ordered a steak well done from a steak restaurant, ate it and left in the time It took for us to be plated.
My friends spaghetti was mushy and clumped, mozzarella cheese was just warm, half burnt garlic bread and the diced tomatoes that was their so called spaghetti sauce was literally canned. I instantly tasted that metallic can taste. Spaghetti is supposed to have spaghetti or marinara sauce. This had spaghetti and diced canned tomatoes. That's it! Where is the sauce??? Our waitress had to be called by name from me just to get her attention so she could remove this so called spaghetti off our bill. No way in h3ll am I paying for that slop. If you can't even get something as basic as spaghetti right then one shouldn't even be cooking.
Subpar food, a embarrassing salad bar, poor service staff, way too long of a wait just for 2 sandwiches, ditzy waitress and burned bread. Just horrible. I seriously recommend that you do not goto this restaurant. You have several fast food restaurants and even a pizza restaurant right across the street which would be 5 star cuisine compared to this establishment. Thank god I'm only passing through this town and will never ever return.

Cozy little bar with great bar fair and dinner specials. Fresh whitefish every friday. Outside patio and yard game area. Friendly atmosphere with cold beer and good drinks!
If you are looking for just a simple burger, fried food and basic beer, this is the place for you. Very limited menu and bar.

I had a great fish dinner at this restaurant. There are several varieties of fresh water fish. I had the perch, and it was so so good!
