A small independent Eatery dedicated to great local produce and relaxed friendly service
I arrived 10 minutes before The Circle Eatery closed after its breakfast and lunch opening period; there were no other customers. But I was welcomed warmly, given a menu and my order was taken efficiently. My food and drinks arrived promptly, well presented, hot and (most importantly) freshly prepared. The service was excellent and at no time did I feel hastened to leave. Thanks to all for a job well done.

Visited here for a drink and snack and we chose the gluten free flat bread with hummus dip and falafel balls with dip. I think everything was freshly prepared and the falafel balls were absolutely delicious. They were served warm along with the tasty flat bread and the dips were full of flavour. A pleasant place to stop by for a quick bite to eat and reasonably priced too

Honestly I am shocked with how bad the customer service was with our meal today. Whilst the waiter was bringing us our first drinks at the table they spilt an entire pint over my head and back, accidents do happen but it was dealt with horribly. The waiter didn't even seem slightly concerned about what had happened and just left me to sit soaking wet. After asking 3 separate times for cloths to clean up the table we were eventually brought some, and they took away my cutlery to bring me a fresh set. Once our starters came nobody came back to give me this fresh cuttlery so I had to ask for it. Nothing was done about me being sat drenched in beer, after discussing it with a manager one of the party said I at least shouldn't have to pay for my drink so one drink was deducted from the final bill. When the final bill came they had the cheek to include a service charge after receiving almost non-existant service. The only even slightly saving grace was that the food tasted nice.Hi Jethro,I am so sorry to read about your disappointing experience with us on Sunday. Yes accidents do happen but the incident definitely should have been dealt with far quicker than it seems to have been. Service charge is automatically added to all tables of ten and above however I completely agree that it should have been removed from your bill. Please do give us a call on 01159663642 so we can remiburse you for the Service Charge.Kind Regards,Adam KananiAssistant Manager

If I could give this place a zero I would. Expensive third rate food. Waiting over an hour for starter and not as the menu. Supposed to be home made bread. We had cheap stale bread. Mains were absolutely awful. They charged £25 for a steak that was a lump of fat. After complaining to the waitress all she said was âI will let the chef knowâ !!! He must have known, he cooked it!!!!. Was then left waiting to pay as all the waiters/waitresses were sat down eating their food. If anyone is thinking of visiting here, donât !! save your money, it is really not worth it. Feel absolute ripped offI'm very disappointed to see your review as our version of events differ somewhat.Your Camembert arrived roughly 25 minutes after ordering, A little longer than we would like but this is a whole baked Camembert and took a little longer to go nice and gooey than usual, so apologies for that. It certainly was no where near an hour as you have claimed in your review. The bread was freshly baked that morning, of which we were serving from that batch all day with no other issues mentioned. We do slice the bread and place it in an oven for a few minutes so that it goes a little crispy as that works best when dipping into a Camembert. Maybe you've mistaken that fact for it seeming stale? Anyhow, you ate it all so couldn't of been that bad.You ordered a Ribeye steak to be cooked well done. Due to the high fat content, Ribeye steaks are best served medium rare to allow the fat to melt into the meat. Cooking a ribeye to well done is not advised as cooking it this way will toughen the meat and overcook the fat and not be very nice at all. Again you ate it all and never mentioned at any point during your meal that you were not happy with what had been served to you, infact, you ate everything before you mentioned anything to a member of management at the end. You were given a discount as you were not completely happy. We welcome our serving staff to having their dinner which we provide in the restaurant area but ask them to seat away from customers so not to disturb them. There were only three staff members eating when you were dining with another three members of staff left working in the restaurant.

I was delighted with the food, from the starters to the main courses and the deserts. I wanted to write a poem to that food. I will definitively come back to this jewel of restaurant.

First ever visit at lunch. We all had the 3 course meal which was both fantastic value and wonderful food. Every course, from the menu as well as the âfreeâ extras, was delicious and beautifully presented. The restaurant has been open for less than a year and as their reputation grows and it gets busier and busier the challenge will be to maintain these excellent standards. Terrific front of house as well as chefâs and an excellent wine list. Highly recommended. Thank you for your kind review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our lunch service. We run a small restaurant seating up to 28 people, which enables us to retain our level of service and standard of food. I'm sure we will see you again soon and thank you again for the lovely comments.

On our first visit, we hadn't booked but they squeezed us in anyway. The servers were lovely, the food was delicious, the portions were huge! Very good value for money, and a thoroughly enjoyable experience - so we booked to return, a few days later. Once again a fabulous dining experience.
