Lovely decor and atmosphere with great coffee and food. We had the bbq pork ribs and mushroom risotto and both were delicious. The ribs are the best Iâve had in a restaurant. Highly recommendWOW!! I come here whenever I need a little pick-me-up meal. Their nachos are delicious, with a little Northland twist to them. The place is often crowded at lunch time, so come early or slightly after the crowd for the best experience

These folks just opened recently and boy, do they know how to make good food. I had the most delicious French toast. Plating was elegant, and the tables were very clean. The coffee was great. It's located right on the main street, perfect for a bite as you go through town.Highly recommended!

A friend told me The Roast Whare was the place to grab a meal on my home, the meals are amazing. Real size potatoes and kumara beautifully roasted, pumpkin too. Generous portions. I had lamb topped up with gravy and mint sauce. You can also eat in. Very clean and tidy friendly staff, quick service.

We stopped in here only by chance on a Sunday afternoon after visiting Wairere Boulders, as our first restaurant stop, the Village Cafe, was closing. I think the owner was behind the counter. Lots of choices, fish and chips from Snapper, burgers, chicken, pies, sandwiches, with indoor and outdoor seating, and a wood fired pizza oven I wish they'd had going. Love to come back sometime when it is.
