Accidentally sent this review as one in New Jersey..sorry..This restaurant is a cozy restaurant ..we found walking around the area after some appointments. We were very happy with our choice of dining.Tuscan Hills was quiet .not empty .just very relaxed. We were seated and brought a menu..my boyfriend inquired as to a wine list .we were given it and it was quite impressive. we did not have wine as it was very warm that day so settled on iced tea..their menu is varied Italian in general. we both decided to try their Margherita pizza.. while waiting for our lunch we were served fresh homeade baked bread..and served chilled water.. While conversing over our lunch .we noticed the lunch crowd increasing.. A very popular spot to dine for sure.. We will definitely visit again ..Mangia..

From the time we walked in the service was uncommonly good for NYC; where did they find their staff?? Great drink specials during the day, and the Margarita was very tasty and the alcohol was generously pored. Two meat sampler plate was a big serving and the choice of two sides (from a good list) put it over the top. Menu has great choices for the serious BBQ lovers and a good selection for the less meat inclined. The fried fish tacos, a starter, was an ample main course and very good. There is also a 14$ brunch menu with substantive choices (not mini portions) INCLUDING two drinks! They clearly use very fresh produce and care about what they serve. The atmosphere was also interesting, reminiscent of times gone by, although the sports-bar style plasma TVs could really be taken out... Overall great value for NYC and worth the visit. Darlene was an outstanding waitress.

We found ourselves on Queens Blvd. looking for an early lunch. When several places were not open despite their advertised times, we were happy to find the Cobblestone Pub which seemed clean and open. There is a separate dining area, so no need to sit at or near the bar. The waitress was very pleasant and accommodating. We each had hamburgers - not the best we had ever had, but made medium rare according to our order and tasty. There was a mountain of french fries that neither of us could finish (the people at nearby table asked for a substitute and were told they could have baked potato, etc as part of the meal if they didn't want fries). Menu is somewhat limited but there were also a few specials listed. Prices were reasonable. I would recommend it to others who happen to be in the area for lunch.

Had dinner with my wife and a friend and were so pleased with every aspect of the place. food was excellent, served quickly and piping hot. Small wait staff (small space) were very attentive and helpful with menu suggestions. Bar had a great atmosphere, lots of locals and definitely a very mixed crowd. Sangria was very good.

We went Saturday night for a couple drinks to start the night off. Service was prompt and courteous and we were served refills very quickly . One thing though the entrance is hard to find and it's not really Clearly labelled and there are steps that I'm sure at the end of the night people stumble out of the bar but other than that good bar scene

AMAZING AND DELICIOUS. Consider this place for your next gathering as they have a private room. The food was a tremendous hit. Besides having a large kids menu, the appetizers were spot on (perogin, pretzels,) I Personally had wurst sampler and it made it special to me. I chose the red pepper filled and their brat. They even had homemade desserts.Bathrooms were clean and services was efficient. Negatives. The music was a tad bit loud. But I expect that was because it was December 23rd and the guy kept up with Holiday tunes.

We have eaten here many times while staying at the Hilton. This time we were at the adjacent Hampton Inn and our nearest meal option was 144. We were here for a late lunch and dinner. Both times, the service was slow, though it was better at dinner. The food was definitely average. The chicken club salad was good.

Six of us were looking for a place to eat before seeing a concert at Forest Hills Stadium on a Sunday evening, and we didn't plan in advance and make reservations, which the day of was "impossible".We luckily found Banter, as it was an excellent "choice".....we did wait about 35 minutes for a table, which is understandable given the circumstances. Melissa, our server, was very helpful, as well as gregarious, and with the kitchen's help, had our food out promptly, both appetizers and main courses. We ordered off the "Event Menu" - which is a truncated version of things they have on their normal menu. There was enough choices to meet anyone's needs. We ordered the Curry Cheese Fries and they were outstanding; and, we also got the special corned beef eggrolls, which were well liked. The mains were the Guinness and Beef Pie, which was great, and so too the Chicken Pot Pie, though some felt the Guinness dish was better.I had the Banter Signature Salad with Salmon, which was very good (well dressed and salmon cooked well). We all really enjoyed our experience there, and look forward to future visits, going to more concerts and just having a meal....
