Bar and restaurant nestled in an historic glass factory building in Beautiful Bennington, VT. 18 craft beers on draft, a comprehensive wine list, and full bar available. Serving lunch, dinner and drinks seven days a week. Outdoor seating available during
This is a perfect place to grab a bite to each after hiking in the nearby Green Mountains. My husband and I stopped in on Saturday after hiking nearby Bald Mountain. There's (limited) outdoor seating and the weather is finally turning so that this is an enjoyable option. They have a great selection of beer, wine, and ciders. They offer great pubfood (burgers, sandwiches).

Ramuto's is a local chain of pizzerias in the various cities in Vermont, and New Hampshire offering visitors and locals with an array of good (though not great) uniform Italian eating experience. Large salads, appys, pasta, and a multitude of types of pizza, from one slice to a large pie, are served up, with each location sporting a good bar as well. Good service. Fair prices, large portions.

Enjoy our New England seasonal menus featuring the finest local ingredients in a warm and casual atmosphere. During the winter you may eat indoors, for an intimate fireside dinner, and during the summer in our restored patio, where you can truly appreciat
A lovely setting. Delicious food. Friendly staff. We have found ourselves frequenting the Grille more and more lately. The menu is so enticing, but I often have a hard time deviating from my favorites such as the Vermonter Salad (the maple balsamic is to die for!)) or the classic french onion soup or the southwestern chicken sandwich. My family tells me I a missing out because there are so many other delicious items on the menu such as the butternut squash ravioli or the steaks or Prime Rib (special only). Definitely check it out for lunch or dinner. So good!Dear Vermonter05201,Thank you for the five bubble review. We are thrilled that you have so many favorites from our menu and can not wait for you to start venturing out to the other entrees and delicious summer specials we will be launching soon!

The Madison family has deep roots in the Bennington, Vermont. As locals growing up and living in the area, the Madison's have deep ties to the community and in the early 1990's the family decided to purchase what was then a burned out storefront in Bennin

Full service restaurant and tavern with beautiful Mt. Anthony views. Ideal for special events and private parties. Summer dining outside on the deck.
This past weekend my husband and I enjoyed our evening at The Publyk House. The atmosphere is pleasant, the waitstaff was friendly and attentive, and our meals were delicious. If you like a salad bar, there is a great salad bar with a good variety of fresh veggies and condiments. I highly recommend The Publyk House and will definitely return when I am in the area.

We visited this restaurant while visiting family and read the reviews on TripAdvisor and saw that it had pretty good reviews. We sat on the bar side because the restaurant was pretty empty and the bar had some patrons. I think they were regulars because they were super loud to the point where we couldn't hear each other but we thought that was funny so it didn't really deter our experience. We all enjoyed our meals and appreciated the company.

Sometimes you just find a little gem when you least expect it. We were driving the scenic route through the mountains when were started to think about lunch. There arenât many restaurants along Route 7 in the mountains and happening up on The Old Hoosick Tavern worked out very well for us. You can miss the red bus out front. This place is full everything you can think of and then some hanging on the ceiling and walls. The bar was open and there were a few customers. We were the first in dining room on this day, as it was still early for lunch. In addition to the menu, daily specials are offered. I chose a pasta dish with meat sauce that was excellent. My wife had a huge bowel of Mushroom Soup, which was just as good. They just have a chef here. We had a very satisfying lunch.

Small brewery in a great location near the river.
This was our last stop on a beer tasting day. We tried all of the flat bread pizzas and they were all good. The menu is diverse with very enticing offerings. The oatmeal porter was my favorite since the coffee/chocolate tastes are appealing. There is a lot of seating inside and also outside seating - even some Adirondack chairs along the riverbank. It was already packed inside when we arrived which was early evening. The service was prompt, friendly/humorous and very professional. The setting can't be beat - literally on the banks of the Walloomsac River. The inside area is rustic with a wall of glass on the riverside accentuating the setting. The building is historical having originally been used as a paper mill. The brewery does offer tours on Friday afternoons - call ahead for an appointment. A great place for friends, families, couples or even a business get-together - really uplifting atmosphere. It was a lovely end to our day of beer tasting in the region.

Love this small enjoyable quaint place. First visit, will be back. Everyone was very friendly and social, food and drink was great. Bring a 1st Responder police, fire, EMT , military patch and they will display it someplace for you.
