Even though we live near the Alfred Subway, we always come into Hornell for this Subway. We have never had a bad meal at this Subway. It's hard for them to make something that you are dictating how it should be made. They always seem to have everything in stock and sometimes they just go the extra mile for you. We just had service here on July 11. No complaints. Every once in a great while, you will get a grumpy worker who seems to be put out by the order you just gave. It doesn't happen often. Prices are comparable to all of the other local Subway's.

My wife and I shared a 2 for 20 special, which included one appetizer to share, two sides each, and an entree for each. Of course any drinks or desserts would not be included in the special. They have quite an extensive menu with a good variety from which to choose. Our food was delicious and cooked exactly as ordered. Our server, 'Shawn', was very friendly and attentive. Thumbs up for the Hornell, NY Applebee's.

I am almost ashamed that I have lived in the Hornell area since 1995 and I finally ate my first breakfast at Billy Schu's and for the life of me, I don't know why I waited so long. Honestly, I have had sausage gravy over biscuits all over the Hornell area and thought I couldn't find it any better. But, I did. Their biscuits were so good and fluffy, then the creamy sausage gravy was just the very best I have ever had. Our business breakfast was fast, hot and spot on. My eggs were perfect and the service was great. Only one note to make sure everyone knows, they do not take credit cards. Cash or local checks only. In today's world, credit cards are our life but as our server explained, they keep the costs down by not having to pay that %% to banks so in turn, they cost of the food, stays low and it is well worth what you get. Great breakfast and we will definitely be returning...

Nice family restaurant. Nothing fancy but the food is good. I had the Texas style hot dogs and French fries with gravy. Nothing else like it.

This restaurant is a regular stop for us every time we come into town. The food is very good and the friendly service second to none. The linguini with clam sauce was excellent. Cajun lemon pepper haddock was also very good. I love the house dressing on the salad with crumbly blue. Can't wait to go again.

Closest thing to a chain but an independent owned and operated family restaurant for 24 years. Home of the Famous Baby Back Ribs & recently the new Home of the BBQ Bandits! Club 57 boasts an outstanding selection of craft beers on draft, not to mention th
Large dinner party last night of 32 people. Theyâre known for ribs, burgers, but everything on menu is delicious. Huge portions and great specials. I had chicken piccata last night with a salad. Full bar and amazing service by the waitress staff. Absolutely worth a visit!

T&J's Country Kitchen has been serving the Hornell area with the finest country-style home cooking since 1983. Open seven days a week, our newly remodeled restaurant offers a wide range of delicious home-cooked food, from real mashed potatoes and gravy to
Being in food service for almost 40 years, I've experienced a lot of different aspects and scenarios in the restaurant field. Having said that, I've never in my years experienced a place such as Country Kitchen where the food is homemade and delicious, yet the wait staff is absolutely clueless and indifferent to the guests. To begin with, we had to wait to be seated although there were plenty of places to sit and there were no one in front of us.. And we waited. And waited. And waited. Waited some more. FINALLY a waitress - who had seen us when we walked in - brought us to our booth. No 'welcome', no 'sorry to have you wait', no smile. Nada. What makes this part funny is that we waited so long for anyone to bring us a menu, a CUSTOMER who was seated at the counter felt so sorry for us, HE brought us our menus!!! LOL!!! Now, I can't begin to tell you how badly our waitress screwed up our order, it would literally take so long that I could write a short story about it.To be fair, though, she did take money off of the bill to make up for the screw-up, and even THAT was wrong, but I digress, the food and pie were outstanding. So much so, all of us (4) came back the next morning after church just for the delicious pies! HOWEVER, that was not to be, for as we waited in line - again - the same miserable waitress from the day before who took her sweet time to acknowledge us us was at the helm once again and we collectively thought that we would 'pass' rather than wait for her to finally get around to us, so we left. A word to the wise: if you want to experience amazing pies, you should go to Country Kitchen, BUT.... bring along some Camp Chairs, because they're in no rush to seat you and bring along a joke book to keep yourself amused - I think if the wait staff ever smiled their faces would crack.

Paddy's has recently renovated our tap system. With 30 different taps to choose from there is something for everyone! Wednesday evenings is our Burger & Beer pairing special night where our chefs create a burger and pair it with one of the delicious brews
We were pleasantly surprised by the menu - the burger selection was enticingly creative. I tried the Burlington Burger (sharp white cheddar, bacon, and house made maple mayo). The combination of flavors was delicious!. My student son and his roommates sampled wings, loaded fries, and quesadillas for appetizers. For main courses, other burgers were a hit, and another student selected the prime rib special. All the food was freshly prepared and great! Note - the pub is very unassuming from the outside, and we found it a little confusing to navigate the street/city mall/parking to get to the backdoor entrance.
