New management, new menu, new dining experience. Thank you new and old customers, I will do my best for everyone, please trust us, please give us a chance. Sincerely,Plum House Andy.
This has always been our local go-to for sushi/sashimi. It was always that place where you were greeted immediately, seated quickly and served the freshest sushi and so far the best miso we've ever had. Walked in tonight and were greeted with great enthusiasm, (very reminiscent of my visits in San Fransisco) and whole new decor and an extended menu. Our waitress gave us the rundown on the specials and went to get our drinks. As they arrived a tray of sliced seasoned salmon was brought to our table. We thought it was a mistake, but it was from the owner/sushi chef Andy. Thank you!The miso is still spot on and the Spider Roll had the perfect crunch and spice. My wife had a mango roll - pictured here - thin sliced mango with lobster, asparagus and other seasoning. Perfect!Welcome to the neighborhood Andy, we'll see you again soon!
During your shopping in Woodbury you'll need a break so, it's a different place opposite McDonald's so, I think it's healthier food. But, it's expensive too and their shushi and sashimi it's poor in my opinion. We ordered one sushi roll, one sushi combo, a fruit salad and two bottles of water with a total amount of 36$.Fast food and let's go to spend more money in Woodbury.Next time, we'll probably try another place.

This One is in Woodbury Common Outlet, japanese teriyaki Chicken, bento.... excellent food, fast good service and people speak japanese as well as Chinese... a must in the Outlet as majority shoppers consist of these two Suitcase pulling, shopping cultures... they Literally drag suitcases when shopping.

I ate lunch here with my friend and her son. He loved the decor and the revolving plates. Wait staff was friendly and the atmosphere is energetic. I had a few plates of tuna and shrimp and fried rice with salmon. It was fine but more of a fast food feel to the food.

Excellent sushi as well as cooked dishes. The fish is incredibly fresh. Try the special combination teriyaki dinner! It comes with filet mignon, salmon and chicken. It was easily one of the best dinners I've eaten. Can't wait to go back for another "date night" with my wife. Highly recommend.

We were hungry and looking for "warm" food on a cold Saturday night. So I googled the vicinity. This place came up and we thought....why not. What do we have to lose except for the dinner...The décor is nothing to write home about. Your average, out of the way, Asian décor. But we stopped paying attention to that since often it fools one.So we ordered Tom Yum soup and it was spicy! Spicy nice. It warmed me up.As usual, instead of drinks, we order green tea. This time it was individually brewed in a tea cattle and was of good quality. Trust me on this. We are tea drinkers.Ordered two dishes. Green curry chicken with brown rice and Panang curry Tofu with brown rice, as well. Both were delivered boiling hot and delicious. The curries were just right. The only thing - the broccoli was a bit overdone, but bearable. We were both very satisfied. At the end I asked, as usual, about the red bean ice cream. And they had it.We ordered one red bean and one green tea. You know, often you get your ice cream and you know it 's been sitting in the freezer for a while. This place had its ice cream fresh and goooood.Service was a bit lack luster, but swift when needed to be. It was all good. Fifty bucks and good memories. If and when in the neighborhood, will certainly remember to stop by.
