Iâm sorry to say that having eaten really good tapas I canât find much of a resemblance between them and what we were offered at the Iron Vine. The empanadas were heavily fried, the taste of the croquetas de chorizo was also overwhelmed by the fried exterior, and the sangria was pretty awful. For sure it was not made with fresh fruit as it should be, and it was very expensive at $40 a carafe. There was also a kind of moldy smell to the restaurant, like in a summer camp that hasnât been aired out. However, our waitress was cheerful and kind and there were plenty of happy people there, so this kind of food is obviously pleasing to some.
This place is right near my home and I ate here a lot when I was rebuilding our current house. This is like a buffet style but not self service. You choose a meat and a few sides. Many of the local contractors, road workers, telephone workers etc line up for lunch here every day. The meals are south American type vibe and change daily. I have had so many good meals here I can't count. This place is especially good when you have been working hard and need lots of energy because your going to put in a good honest day of work doing something physical. An example might be: chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy and a side of vegetables but there are different sides to choose from. Your meal will usually be under $10. You can also get typical Deli stuff such as sandwiches, egg on a roll, soda, beer and smokes etc....service is fine and it is family owned.

If you're looking for a wide variety of fresh cooked food, you should definitely check this place out. Many different types of meats and fish, rice and beans and much more. Juice bar and a large sit down area to eat. Make your own plate of food. Prices are very reasonable. We appreciate your comment & hope to see you back soon!

This place is a true gem. While they have the full assortment of the usual Mexican food, their specials are fabulous! I had the duck mole poblano. There are not enough adjectives to describe how delicious this was. We will return. The only downside is there is no bar area to speak of, so if you have to wait youâre just standing around.....but make the wait....itâs worth it

Iâve passed this restaurant by numerous times always wondering what was inside and today I decided to find out. The staff was awesome although it took me some effort to navigate through their thick accents but it was completely manageable. The food is authentic and delicious the beer was served in a frosted mug which made it even more refreshing. I had an amazing meal and look forward to returning when ever I am in town visiting family.

I've eaten here many times or just stopped in for a great cocktail or glass of wine with a friend. In spring and summer the back yard garden is just lovely. The inside also has a nice ambiance. The food is really great especially all of their appetizers, those are my favorites

I have been here for the brunch - and really enjoyed their breakfast - really do not like American breakfast - plus their sangria special - wow they pack a punch = and love the Popsicle. Their tortilla chips are made on premise and I do enjoy the bean dip. All the food we have had was fresh. Went two nights ago with my good friend for her birthdayand said they had a backlog in kitchen so we went to the bar - and it was mojito night $6.00 - oh my gosh the variety was great!! tamarind, and mango delicious. Well our waiter Julio was a blast and thankfully we could stay and eat in the bar - I had the cerviche - which was delicious - flavor packed - not huge but tasty. My friend had carne asada - which was delicious. We finished off with fried ice cream that had its own little show - cute - it was ok. Note do not order decaf coffee -it is instant - regular coffee is not - Over all - I like this place - it was packed on a Wednesday night at 7:30pm For now it my go to place and want to try out more dishes -
