Located in Carle Place for 3+ decades, the food is so consistently good with massive portions, it is always busy. Their seafood, pasta and especially their sauce (shipped all over the world) make this the favorite Italian/seafood restaurant for multi-generations. Their sauces (mild-med-hot) are just the best. The hot is too hot for me, but their mild and medium dance on my palate. Started with a beautiful caprese salad and fried zucchini wheels for the table. I had shrimp balls Parmigiana over angel hair with medium sauce, my brother ordered eggplant rollatini. As good as ever! It's my "go-to" whenever I visit L.I.
It's right down from the health club that I belong to. So it;s very convenient for picking up either a pre-made entree or a good fresh catch. Yes, it is a little pricey, but you have to pay for quality.
Heard about this place from my wife. Got there on Monday night at 730 for dinner. Indoor and outdoor seating, we sat at window. Where met by very hospitable reception, sat and had Bianca 'Bee', our waitress. Introduced the menu, and explained everything so well. We had the Grand opening special, Lobster, Snow Crab legs, Shrimp, Potatoes, Corn and Hard boiled eggs, HOT. Boy o Boy. Cooked to perfection. Her service was awesome. Will definitely go again.

Notice I rated this place EXCELLENT...And it is. It's clean as a whistle and the staff at this location is great, especially Ellen, our server. Another important note is that they play their music at a nice comfortable low volume, so the guests can hear each other....On a corporate level however, there are some issues......Their website is dreadful. The menu on the website is terrible and almost useless. The in-house menu layout overall is horrible. If not for our server, we would have missed out on options that we ultimately ordered. They need to fire their graphic designers and website people immediately and start over, in my opinion....Their birthday club is not inclusive at all. I'm not even sure if how it's structured is even legal in New York state. Apparently, you cannot sign up at all or take advantage of the free dessert offer unless you have a cell phone with texting capability! As an American corporation they should be ashamed of themselves for that.I do really like Red Lobster a lot, but I promised them that I'd be "advertising" my disappointment via social media and word of mouth vehemently! And if they fix it, I will report that as well....I hope this survey really does inspire them to improve, because I really don't want them to go out of business..GOD BLESS AMERICA

This little place is what every town needs-- an idiosyncratic menu of mostly southern specialties, interesting bar and an owner on premises sometimes doubling as a waitress.BBQ meats are tender with a nice rind. The sauces are either Texas or North Carolina-- that is sweetish with a touch of spice or vinegary with some spice. Both very good.Portions are ample and prices are reasonable. Ice tea is refilled promptly and without charge--just as it is in the south. The sides are great but check with your cardiologist before embarking on a deep dive into the cheesy grits-- they are rich as can be.Lunch specials are mostly around $10 but can be a bit on the small side (the rib special is three small ribs.) Weekdays bring fabulous beignets loaded with powdered sugar, hush puppies can sometimes be a tad overdone. If you are looking for a highly personal culinary tour of the deep south, head on over to Syosset and ask for Mara. This is a place that is to be treasured and supported as it is both highly original, quirky and delicious at the same time.
