Everything about this gastropub was delightful, from the beer menu (which included several cider options) to the genuinely friendly service. The fried cod in my sandwich was perfect, as was the sweet nutty bread it was served on; my husband was equally pleased with his sushi-grade tuna. And the mashed potatoes were fabulous. We ate dinner on a Saturday night, when it was busy but not jam-packed. My husband has also been on Sunday afternoon during football season, when he said it was surprisingly less crowded (but still quite friendly, with several TVs on the pub side). So glad it's within walking distance from where we live!

Pete's has a varied menu. We started with corn fritters which were wonderful! They filling was full of creamy corn and the outside was crunchy. I had a salad with a burger on it. There were lots of good greens-no iceberg to be found.and both tomatoes and strawberries. My husband had a rib-eye steak and fries. They were both exactly as requested , the steak medium rare and the fries crisp. The lemon sorbet and pound cake were both delicious. The prices are reasonable and the staff is helpful and friendly without hovering. I needed help getting my scooter in and they could not have been nicer about moving furniture. We were there on a Wednesday night and there was a trivia game . It was a lot of fun and nobody knew just how badly we did, I understand there is live music some night. This is a sports bar with a huge menu of items to choose from. It is a big space without much personality or warmth and because of the size, sound really echos and it can be quite loud at times. The food is adequate but nothing special. Most people come to drink and watch rather than eat.

Parking is limited in the area--there is some street parking and municipal pay-to-park lots. The restaurant is a high class sports bar with several televisions flowers on the tables cloth napkins, and a smartly uniformed staff. It has full bar service. The service is very fine and the food was excellent.

We went to Lillyâs yesterday to celebrate my husband graduating college. Unfortunately we had a bad experience at this place. I ordered salad with shrimps. Salad arrived without shrimps and when I told them, they said ok. And then they brought 5 shrimps on a plate... and they were burned! How can you bring this to a customer? Then my husbandâs burger was over cooked, my sister in law didnât get her dish until later... it was just awful, we had to wait so long to finally eat. Bad service, bad food. Wonât be coming back and wonât recommend this place to anyone.

Lazy Boy Saloon is located in Downtown White Plains. The Lazy has an amazing bar and a great beer menu unfortunately that is when the good time ends. The unisex bathroom was filthy and disgusting, we also noticed the waitress pet a dog in middle of food service who then proceed to serve meals to the patrons ( we love dogs but you have to wash your hands if you are handling food). Ok what does the meaning of medium mean to you. I ordered 2 burgers with Swiss medium for take out along with freedom fries and wings, the burgers were rare the freedom fries did not include what we ordered. We had given them plenty of time to get our food ready and it was wrong. I have not been here for awhile but was not happy with the service. Letâs hoe things get better
