While traveling on the Erie Canal trail stopped in for a box lunch. It is a small place with fantastic fresh food with high quality items. The box lunch had samples of local fresh vegetables and cheeses.

Our hotel did not include breakfast, so before heading for home on a Saturday morning, we stopped in for breakfast based on reviews. This place was just hopping! There was an auction going on, so I think it may have been a bit busier due to that event, but I got the impression that it is always pretty steady business. What struck us at first was how friendly the other patrons were...who were obviously locals. We actually started chatting with a family, and found out the wife was from our city. Small world for sure!!Our food was delicious. It was a little slow coming out, but we were in no hurry so that was just fine. I had the breakfast sandwich with bacon instead of sausage, and hubby had the Western Omelet. Both breakfasts were fabulous. We would stop at this friendly diner again if we were in the Verona area!!
Stopped at the New Maple Leaf Market in Sherrill expecting MUCH better things. We were looking for a quick pick up breakfast sandwich and when entering there was only one sandwich in the rack, cashier advised more were coming right out. Looked around a bit and when returning to cashier more sandwiches were in heater box. I grabbed an egg and cheese on a muffin and hubby grabbed bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel. Opened both sandwiches down the road and found the egg and cheese muffin to have a RAW muffin, runny egg and cold cheese. Bagel sandwich had a rubbery bagel, runny/raw eggs and undercooked bacon. For a new place I expected a little more attention to detail. Needless to say, would go in the opposite direction to hit up McDonalds or Dunkin for the price it was.....................

Staying at the Oneida Community Mansion House we had received vouchers for a free breakfast there, but the breakfast bagels we ordered would have certainly been worth paying for. They were nice and chewy - not overly doughy - and complemented the egg, meat and cheese they came with beautifully. The coffee was good, too, and the whole atmosphere at the coffeehouse was comfy and relaxing. The outdoor patio looked very nice, but sitting there was not possible due to the rainy weather.

We had breakfast on a Sunday morning. It was our first visit after reading and hearing many good things. The food is homemade and lovingly prepared and served. The bakery case was irresistible and we purchased items to take home as well. Portions were generous and the apple jam was a new experience. The friendly staff was very attentive and several inquiries were made to be sure everything was to our liking. My only complaint is that they donât serve decaf coffee, thus only 4 stars.
Barista coffee shop and casual cafe with fresh made pastries and desserts daily. All breakfast and lunch items completely prepared in house. Cozy rustic chic atmosphere, great music, wifi hotspot, friendly service. Great location in historic downtown Onei
You have to go a block off Main Street to find this place... but if you like actual GOOD coffee, you will! Great service and atmosphere AND great coffee!!! Out in a part of central NY where good coffee isn't always that easy to find!!

The cafe is small and funky, but the approach to their lunchtime offerings more resembles fine dining. The Black Bean & Chorizo Soup made me think I was back in Chimayo, NM, and the Roast Beef Melt with Caramelized Onions and Sharp Cheddar was done perfectly, as was the Grilled Vegetable Panini. The Apple Walnut Cake and coffee were a great finish to our meal.
