Stopped at old favorite Kyoto for dinner. Good miso soup, seaweed salad, and deep fried tofu. It was freezing out so I passed on the sushi and had the salmon teriyaki dinner. Very good and hearty. Friendly staff and good service. Great sushi but will wait till weather warms up.

Yum Yum Noodle Bar in Kingston, NY - we went there yesterday for dinner, initially only because all other restaurants with vegan options were closed. We figured out that closed stores and restaurants are a thing in the area on Tuesdays. We were positively surprised about all the vegan and gluten free options on âYum Yumâsâ menu. More than half of their delicious meals are either vegetarian or vegan, mostly gluten free, and clearly marked gf/v! Our server was very friendly, knowledgeable and fast! Since my wife mentioned that she is gluten free and Iâm not, the seitan for our very tasty shared kale salad came in a little bowl on the side, just to make sure her part was safe for her to eat. So considerate! Our whole dining experience was very positive. The food was delicious, fresh, and served with good vibes. All soy products were organic, the water was filtered and came without straws! If you are looking for a satisfying vegan meal in beautiful Kingston, this is a good choice!Text&Picture credit: vegansouladventure

I had the Nabeyaki soup with Udon noodles. It was very good. Much too much food for one person, but made for great leftovers. The atmosphere is very traditional, and perfect for enjoying the food. I hope to get a chance to return and try the sushi.

Went here on the recommendation of some friends. We didn't order what they had commented on, maybe we should have. My chicken in garlic sauce was good, both of us felt the fried rice was some of the worse we have eaten. My other half had shrimp in garlic sauce and it came with only 6 shrimp. Not a place we will put on our list to return to. Prices weren't bad.

Momiji is a very good sushi restaurant. I've had numerous rolls here (the Buddha is my favorite) and the food has always been fresh and tasty. The vegetable noodle bowls are very satisfying and the portion is just right for me. The decor is average and the service is very fast and friendly. For better Japanese you'll have to drive an hour.

I had hot and sour soup, which was good but could have been spicier and more sour for my taste. And I had the "all out" special sushi roll. It contained spices tuna, salmon, avocado, mango, and other yummy stuff, served with two sauces. It tasted amazing! Spice, salt, sweet. Pieces were small, so easy to manage. All fresh, soup served quickly and hot.

Delicious sushi served in what one might consider to be an unexpected surprise. Located in a small strip mall on Rt 32 in Rosendale, the exterior gives no indication of the level of fresh sushi served here. I would have given this place a higher rating, but for the physicality. The interior is fine enough, but could be improved to match the quality of what is served. Service was fine...food excellent. Strongly suggest heading over for delicious meals in a casual environment.
